"So it was all a lie?"

I whispered, but loud enough, as I aimed my bolo at him. He looked at me with pained eyes and said nothing. I smiled, not because I'm happy or anything positive. I smiled because I couldn't believe I had become such a fool. I have become stupid enough to think this man is someone I can trust! An ally! A friend... I'm so stupid to fall for that a second time!!

"Kati..."

My name escaped his lips. Hearing it made my blood boil. I want to charge at him and pummel him. I want to kill him with my own fist! He betrayed me! He betrayed my family! He betrayed my people who looked up at him! Just like that man! But this time we thought he was here to help! He promised to help us because we have the same enemy!!!
