I'm a straightforward girl. I see what I like and I take it. It's been the same when I was little and it's still the same now. So when I went out clubbing with my friends that night and I saw this highly attractive guy, I just knew I had to have him...

"Holy fuck. You brought me to the royal palace."
The words slipped out before I could restrain them. My heart was pounding with my anxiousness. Not only did he bring me into the inner city, but he brought me to the royal palace. I couldn't escape at this point. I was too deep into this.
"Is that so surprising?" He asked, as if we were taking a stroll through a regular old park instead of a fucking historical building hosting a literal royal family.
I ignored him and gazed at the majestic building as we drove closer.
It was as splendid as my mother described. Beautifully crafted gothic architecture that stretched up into the sky with tips depicting that of a crown. You could tell its age by the finely crafted design that stretched as far as the eyes could see, surrounded by tall, towering trees and greenery.
A small courtyard was at the front, and we slowly drove inside.
We drove around the pond in the center, large rocks decorating its exterior. Water slipped through those rocks, depicting a small waterfall blending naturally into the background.
From what I'd read, this castle once belonged to humans. One hundred years ago, the humans and the wolves went to war, and the wolves having won that war confiscated everything and ran the humans out of the territory. They'd made this castle their home, creating a society around it until it evolved into the beautifully built kingdom it is today.
It was a sight for sore eyes, but stuff like this didn't interest me. I was more concerned with the security of the place.
As the car rolled to a stop, the guards standing at the large doors upfront stood at attention. They must have sensed Remi's presence.
The rustling of leaves had me turning my head to see a large brown wolf disappear into some shrubs on the side.
Another guard.
I took a deep breath to calm my nerves, my hands twitching as I mourned the fact that I was weaponless. I was sure that if I used my ability to look around, I'd be able to see many more wolves hiding in the corners my naked eyes couldn't pick up.
The driver got out and came around to open the door to the car. Remi tightened his hold on me, and I wrapped my arms around his neck to stabilize myself. We slid out of the car smoothly, and being held in his arms like this made me realize just how big he was once he stood to his full height.
"Are you going to put me down?" I asked, feeling uncomfortable as the stares drilled into my face. I could feel the confusion pouring out of these people. Even I was confused as to what I did to deserve getting kidnapped.
"I prefer you in my arms," he replied with a toothy grin, walking towards the large double doors. He nodded to the guards standing in front of them, and one of them stepped forward to open the door for us.
