Fugo was right. As if he's ever been wrong before. 

When the moment was hotter than summer and the ceramic plates scattered on the floor. Water was dripping from the faucet since last night. The curtains haven't been washed for months. Where specks of dust piled off on every corner. 

Fugo was right when he said it with venom spitting out from his lips.

People were bustling outside as their laughter can be heard from the open window. Their voices swallowed Fugo's anger from being recognized by anyone but you. His breath was unsteady, panting with rage running through his veins. Your breath caught in your throat.

Fugo was right and you agreed with tears falling down your cheeks.

The phone vibrating on the table silenced him for a second. Eyes were still glued onto you. You weren't sure what his face looked like with the sun shining from the window on his back. but his eyes, those purple eyes, be damned.

The washing machine, surprisingly, was still running in the background. The sound was running in your head, spinning around, tangled, and messed up. 

Fugo was right when he picked up the phone and then left without a word. 

As the door slammed in the distance, the washing machine turned off. You remember that you were doing laundry. Clothes were piling up so you had no choice. 

You rose from the floor, unsteady, willing to step into the ceramic pieces. 

Your laundry.

The clothes were still damp so you moved them carefully into the dryer. Of clothes and dresses, blankets, and sheets. The deed from last night. Lots of them. 

Sweats.

Spits.

Bloods.

Fugo was right, he said it himself. 

Now, to wait for the clothes to dry. Once they are dried you can fold them nicely before loading them into the wardrobe. Only then you are done with the laundry. 

Fugo was right when he complimented you would make a good housewife.

You were right, a long time ago, when you said to your boss that Fugo should have been killed.

Just like laundry, you can always do it all over again.
