Chapter Thirty

You walk into your house slowly and quietly trying to stay under the radar and avoid your father's attention. Sadly, that doesn't work very well.

"Where have you been?" You hear his voice from the kitchen table. You're dead.

"School." You answer as casually as possible, trying to pretend like he won't do anything to you, but he stands up and slowly starts walking towards you. You back away slowly, trying not to be noticed and hopefully escape, but apparently luck is not in your favor tonight. But is it ever?

As soon as you take one step backwards he starts moving faster, so you turn and run. You feel his hand grab your arm before you make it very far. You're an idiot. He's bigger and faster than you, of course you can't get away.

He hurls you into the kitchen and you slam against the table, painfully hitting your back, but you manage to stay standing. Of course your victory, which can barely be called a victory, is short lived, as he storms towards you, clearly mad about something.

Grabbing you and throwing you against the wall, he slams his foot into your stomach, and the force makes you throw up. You sit there heaving out your insides coughing and nearly choking on your own vomit. Well wouldn't that be a way to die.

As soon as you finish he grabs hold of your arm and yanks you up, slamming you against the wall he glares into your face, like a wild animal you avoid his gaze, hoping not to provoke him.

That doesn't work.

He slams his fist into your gut, making you fall to the ground again, coughing, with the breath knocked out of you.

He stands back as you crouch on the ground next to your own vomit and then you make another decision. Probably stupid, but you'll figure it out. You run for the bathroom, and actually get away, since you took him by extreme surprise.

You manage to stay in the safety of your bathroom for the remainder if the night, however you don't get much sleep, but at least you are safe. Well, safe enough.

A/N: I am so so so so sorry I'm such an inconsistent updated and that this chapter was really short and sucked. I swear I will try to do better next time. But unfortunately I don't know when that will be, but I will try to be more consistent. But it probably won't work. Sorry guys!!!! And also, thank you thank you thank you for your support!!
