You decide to call the police.

"Just think, (y/n), he will never be able to bother you anymore. You don't have to be hurt anymore," Newt's mom is by your bed, hugging you and crying and squeezing your arm.

"I can understand why you wouldn't tell anyone before, because you were afraid, but you don't have to be afraid. You can stay with us for as long as you need to, and you'll finally have a home. You'll be safe and you will be taken care of. Just think about it," she squeezes your hand one more time before leaving.

You've never had a home before. But you can't think of a better one than one with Newt. You just imagine the week you spend at his house, but forever. Food, care, sleep, and best of all, Newt. It's better than you would have ever hoped for. Could this actually be a possibility?

After she left, Thomas and Minho came in, also trying to convince you to go to the police. And at this point you figured if you didn't go to the police, someone else would go for you. Everyone was ready enough. It would probably be Minho, he was furious at your father, and he had never even met the man. And if he ever did, you were sure it would be much worse.

"How could I have not seen?" He kept saying over and over again. And you just kept shrugging.

"I was good at hiding it, I guess." You say, after about the third time. Minho just seems to ignore you. And continues to go on about how he shouldn't have let this happen to someone.

"I'm going to kill that little shuck face. He won't even see what's coming," he says. And you can't help but laugh. You don't even know Minho that well, but he's willing to beat up your father just because he hurt you. "No one deserves anything like this."

"Are you sure you're okay?" Thomas says, also for the third time. You nod again.

"I'll be fine," you say, though Thomas still looks worried at the amount of injuries you have all over your body. He doesn't seem convinced.

"Are you sure?" He asks, one more time. You roll your eyes.

"I'm fine, Thomas. Really," And at this point Newt comes in, heading straight for your bed, he kisses you first thing before pulling up a chair and sitting down by you.

"Ready to get out of here?" He says, smiling.

"Yes!" You say enthusiastically, you're quite bored of the hospital, and you're ready to get out of this bed.

..........

Sitting on your bed at Newt's house, holding his hand and leaning against his shoulder, closing your eyes, just taking a deep breath.

"So are you going to do it?" Newt asks hopefully.

You nod slowly, not quite opening your eyes, not believing you're actually going to do it. Newt hands you a phone, and you dial the police, finally ready to do something.
