"(Y/n)?"

You wake up in a lot of pain, not even wanting to open your eyes.

"Hey (y/n)?" There's a hand placed
gently on your shoulder, but the voice has no accent. Clearly not Newt, but who else would be here?

You finally open your eyes to find Thomas standing by you bed, clearly very worried.

"C'mon. Let's get you out of here," he says, first wrapping a towel around your bloody leg, then bending down he picks you up and carries you to the window.

Confused at how the window is open, you glance around, and find that he had completely taken the window apart to make an opening.

Getting to the window, you move to get out of Thomas's arms, not seeing a way to get out of the window with him holding you, you groan in pain.

"No shhhh it's okay. Don't move," Thomas says soothingly. He then hands you out to Minho outside of the window, still painful but nothing compared to moving on your own.

"Well, (y/n), how are you doing?" Minho says, carrying you away from the house, Thomas right behind. You barely manage a weak smile.

"It's going to be okay, you're safe now," Thomas says, squeezing your unbroken hand.

"How did you know?" You ask, though you figure there's only one person who could've told them. Only one person knows your secret. Normally you would be upset that someone knew, but this time you were just too relieved to worry much about what will come after this.

"Newt's pretty far away and he won't be able to be here until tomorrow, and it's safe to say that he was a little worried about you," Thomas says, glancing at then blood soaked towel on your leg. It just reopened while you were moving, if it ever had even closed up.

"Well he has a very good reason to be worried," Minho adds while placing you in the backseat of a car. This hurt most of all, and you nearly cry out, but biting your lip you try not to make a sound, but one tear makes its way out of your eye.

"You really are one tough cookie," Minho says, getting in the drivers seat, Thomas gets in the back with you and Minho starts to drive.

"How could nobody have known?" Thomas says, almost to himself while looking at your injuries. There are plenty of bruises, cuts, and scrapes all over you that are no longer hidden by your clothes, which are pretty torn at this point.

You half shrug and give a small half smile, "I guess I'm just good at hiding it," you say, also pretty distant. "And besides, it doesn't really matter."

Minho nearly crashed the car when he hear that. Turning around to you in the backseat he looks at the amount of blood all over you.

"(y/n), do you even see yourself? This is the most damaged I've ever seen on a person, let alone done by a family member. I just can't believe no one noticed or you didn't even tell anybody. The fact that you're so calm shows that this has been going on for a while, maybe forever. Now you're Newt's girl, and we're Newt's friend, so that makes you our friend too, no take backs. Now I'm going to murder that guy the second we get you to a hospital. Well, maybe not murder. I could get grounded for that, but I am definitely calling the police. This man is dangerous and I want him as far away from you as possible, forever. Now, let's get you to a hospital."

"You can't call the police...." You say, but you're starting to feel very dizzy.

"You've lost a lot of blood, (y/n), try not to move," Thomas says.

"No police..." You say, before the world goes dark.
