At home again, you're hiding out in your room. Nothing has happened tonight, and you want to keep it that way. You can hear your father home, but you stay in your room.
You don't want to risk it. Sooner or later though. You have to leave. To go to the shucking bathroom.
And when you do. He's there. And you can't hide anymore.
And everything continues on as normal. But tonight its a little different. He's not drunk. He's in his right mind, and he knows what he's doing. He's aware he is hurting you, and he doesn't care.
In fact. He likes it.
There is a single tear at that thought that spills out of your (e/c) eye. And he laughs. So you close your eyes tight, clench your fists, and lie on the ground and prepare for the worst. You can hear his foot lift, and you clench all over, trying to minimize the pain. But it doesn't help much.
His boot still hits your stomach at full force and the wind is knocked out of you.
But you can't react. Reacting just makes everything worse. And all it does is call for more pain, and whether it comes tonight, tomorrow, or whenever. It always makes everything worse.
After a while, He does go back to his precious beer. But theres no difference to you. Except maybe the smell of alcohol.
A little while later, he grabs your arm roughly and pulls you up, and slams you against the wall. Bringing his fist back, he thrusts it forward, hitting your stomach. Biting your tongue to keep from crying out, you close your eyes, and ever so slighly turn, trying to protect yourself.
He notices, puts his hand on your shoulder, and slams it directly against the wall, and you get a direct punch to your face, making contact with your cheek.
He brings his hand back again, and instinctively you turn, so your back is facing him. His arm makes contact with your shoulder. Big mistake.
Grabbing you, he pulls you away from the wall, and slams you back in, your head hitting with a crack.
You black out.
