After school at your locker you feel a tap on your shoulder, turning expecting to see Newt again, you're surprised to come face to face with Thomas and Minho. You drop your gaze embarassed, your face turning red. You're not used to anyone talking to you.
"Now listen (y/n). You like Newt, we can all see that. Even Newt can see that! And he likes you, so it's obvious what should happen next. So why isn't it?" Thomas asks, narrowing his eyes at you.
"I-" you stop. You don't really know how to respond.
Minho sighs, "Look (y/n), we know you're shy, believe me, it's obvious. But Newt's not giving up on you, ever. So you're just going to have to deal with it, and we reccomend you do something, because we know you want to, and he does, too. If you're not ready, get over it! Because to be honest, he's getting annoying!! Just date the boy!!"
A small giggle escapes your lips despite yourself. And just then, seeing Thomas and Minho's surprised looks at your laugh, you wonder, could it actually be possible to have a relationship? Maybe it's worth a shot.... No!! It can't happen!
"Did I just hear a noise?" Minho asks, putting a hand to hear ear in mock surprise. You roll your eyes, and Thomas grabs Minho and pulls him behind.
"Okay (y/n), just give it a chance, that's all we're asking. Newt's getting annoyed, and frankly we think you two would go good together. Just try, for him, if not for us." Thomas leaves, but Minho lingers behind a second."
"(y/n), please. He's getting shucking annoying." Minho turns to follow Thomas leaving you alone to walk to the library, where Newt is waiting for you at the doors.
