"He said he was...building something. That it was all for me." El explained tearfully.

"An army." Oscar muttered.

Will frowned. "He's building it to stop Eleven."

"The Mind Flayer knows El's the only thing that can stop him." Mike breathed.

"He also said...he was going to kill all of you..." She sniffed.

"Well that's nice." Max muttered.

That's when they heard something strange. Nancy slowly approached the window. "Billy...when he told you this, it was here? In this room?"

Will's eyes widened as his hand shot up to his neck. "He knows we're here."

Everyone rushed outside, and they saw the strange, bloody creature heading straight for them, tearing down trees in the process.

They ran back inside and started barricading the windows and door, also grabbing an axe and gun from the shed.

"This sucks, I'm totally useless." Oscar hissed in frustration when Will came and sat by him. "All because I couldn't handle my own body."

Will hesitantly took his hand. "Hey...the battle you're fighting?" Oscar looked at him. "It's a big one too." He insisted gently. "Just...hang tight for now, okay?" He smiled a little.

Oscar smiled at him. "Got it."

Everyone huddled together in the middle of the room, weapons ready, and waited.

Soon, they heard a rumbling.

And then a strange tentacle monster shot through the wall straight for El. Jonathan managed to it it with the axe and stop it, but the monster sent him flying. Nancy fired at it multiple times but ran out of ammo.

Just before it could reach her, El grabbed it with her powers and dragged it back. She slammed it to the ground and part of it ripped off. The rest retreated back through the window.

"Holy shit." Max breathed.

Two tentacles shot through this time, on either side of El, she barely managed to reach her arms out and stop them as blood poured out of her nose. "AH!" She snapped them apart.

But then one shot through the ceiling and wrapped around her ankle, trying to drag her out. El shrieked as Mike barely managed to grab her hand. Everyone else grabbed onto her to try and keep her from being pulled away.

"NANCY SHOOT IT!" Oscar screamed, throwing her some of the ammo lying around.

Nancy caught it and loaded up the rifle, firing multiple times.

Lucas grabbed the axe and chopped at the tentacle sticking out of the creature's mouth. Thankfully he managed to cut it just in time.

"El! El are you okay!?" Mike asked in horror as they collapsed on the ground, El was barely staying awake.

"OH MY GOD!" Oscar gasped, seeing the strange tentacle piece still stuck to her leg.

Mike reluctantly pulled at it and ripped it off as fast as he could.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" El shrieked in pain when it was removed.

The monster roared as it tried to get through, and El weakly stood up and limped towards it, using all of her might to tear its head in half.

"RUN! RUN! RUN! EVERYONE OUT!" Max and Mike carried El to the car while Jonathan and Will helped Oscar.

They threw themselves into the car, driving off as fast as possible as that thing chased after them.
