"We can't stay here. He's here." Will told him frantically.

Oscar had just finished throwing on a shirt and pants. "Let's get going- AUGH!" He stumbled as he tried to walk, Will caught him before he could fall.

"Slowly." Will corrected. "Your ribs have gone through hell and back, the muscles are totally torn, so be careful."

Oscar nodded and allowed Will to help him walk. They hurried down the hall as fast as they could, the lights were flickering terrible and there was blood in the halls, proof something had been around.

They managed to get close to the front door and spotted the rest of the group. "Little help here!" Will groaned.

Mike rushed over and threw Oscar's other arm over his shoulders to help carry some of his weight. "So, feeling better?" He askes sarcastically.

"Eh, could be worse." Was Oscar's retort as they headed outside.

A bloody mess of a creature was lying there, struggling to get up. They watched it escape down a drain in the road, leaving only a few bones behind.

"It can't be good for her to be in there for this long." Mike insisted. They were at the cabin, El was using her powers to try and find Billy and the others.

Max huffed. "Mike you need to relax."

"What if she gets brain damage?" Mike snapped.

"Shit can that happen?" Lucas paled.

Oscar rolled his eyes. "No. She's sitting up so the blood isn't going to her brain-"

"Hey, you're not talking Mr. 'I nearly killed myself less than 24 hours ago'!" Mike snapped, pointing at him. Oscar shut up.

Nancy and Jonathan were trying to see if anything else weird was going on with anyone else.

"Okay can you guys settle an argument for us?" Max snapped. "Who do you think should decide El's limits? Mike, or El?"

"The way that you frame that is such bullshit!" Mike hissed.

Max glared at him. "It's not bullshit, that's your whole problem Mike! It's also why she dumped you!"

"El dumped you?" Nancy asked in disbelief.

"Yeah because she's conspiring against me!" Mike snapped, glaring at Max. "You're filling her head with stupid ideas because you don't trust any boys!"

Max's jaw dropped. "That is NOT true. The fact is she is not yours, she's her own person!"

"Then why is she wearing clothes she hates?" Mike snapped, crossing his arms.

"Excuse me?" Her eyes narrowed.

"She told me she hates these clothes, that they don't have significance to her like her other ones did, because the other ones remind her of her sister. Did you even know that!?" Mike hissed.

Max paused at this, seeming hesitant.

"You have NO CONCEPT of what we all went through with El!" Mike exclaimed. "Every time she puts herself at risk my heart just..." His voice wavered. "Breaks." Max stared him down. "Because I'm weak, and she isn't. Her whole life she's put other people before herself and she was raised in a way that makes her easily influenced! So fine, maybe I'm way too protective of her, and maybe I want her to myself BECAUSE I CAN'T TRUST ANY OF YOU NOT TO HURT HER!"

"BUT THAT'S YOUR PROBLEM!" Max insisted angrily. "YOUR PROBLEM IS YOU DON'T TRUST US!"

"YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT TRUST!? AFTER YOU GUYS SPIED ON US!?" Mike fumed.
