Max was dancing around El's room listening to music while El read magazines and Oscar was reading comics.
"Guys stop sulking, you did the right thing." Max insisted.
"I feel like a jerk." Oscar sighed. "I know he doesn't fully understand what I'm going through, but he's trying."
El looked down. "Mike's always so sweet to me...yes he lied and that's...terrible, but..."
"Nope, no, no, no." Max shook her head. "They had their chance. Will turned it around to be completely on you, and Mike tried to keep lying to cover up his mistake." Max protested. "Which means they're dead to you."
When they didn't reply, she suddenly grinned. "Hey," They looked at her. "Okay, real talk alright? Nothing leaves this room. Oscar if you blab I'll kill you."
Oscar held his hands up in defense.
"So, is Will a good kisser?" Oscar choked on the air.
El looked at him curiously as well.
"I-I don't know, I guess." Oscar shrugged awkwardly, face flushing pink. "I haven't kissed anyone else."
"What about Mike?" Max questioned El.
Oscar cringed. "Oh man, can we not talk about my brother and this subject in the same sentence?" El and Max burst into laughter.
"I bet they're wallowing in misery right now, just hoping you two take them back. What I wouldn't give to see their stupid faces." Max sighed.
El's eyes widened.
"...No, no way." Oscar protested when she saw the look on her face. "We can't!"
El grinned at him.

El tied a bandanna around her eyes and focused.
"I'm going to hell." Oscar sighed as he lied on the bed.
He just couldn't help it. He wanted to know if Will was thinking about him at all. And El already said she was gonna do it anyway, whether he wanted to or not.
"I see them." El commented.
"What are they doing?" Max asked.
"Eating. Will's at the D&D table."
Oscar rolled his eyes. "Of course he is."
"They say we are a species. Emotion, not logic." El frowned.
"What?" Max hissed.
"Will said if Oscar doesn't want to be a girl he should stop acting like one." El commented.
Oscar's eyes widened. "And what did Mike say about it?"
"He didn't comment on it." El explained.
"...They're jerks." Max told him simply. "Don't give them the time of day."
Oscar looked down at his lap. It was one thing to be fighting with Will over this, but for Mike to not take his side?
El suddenly gasped and ripped the bandanna off.
"What? What happened?" Max questioned.
El burst into giggles, leaving them confused.
That's when they heard the door slam, and after a few moments they heard Hopper yelling. "WHEN I SAY THREE INCHES I MEAN-" He threw the door open.
Max scowled. "Do you knock? Jeez!"
"Yeah, jeez!" El snapped, following her lead.
Hopper did a double take, looking over at Oscar, who waved awkwardly.
