"Is there a number we can call? For your parents?" Mike asked carefully.

They had brought the girl back to their house, and Mike had given her his jacket to help keep her warm. She was curled up on the recliner.

Oscar frowned. "Did you get in trouble? Did you run away?"

"Is that blood?" Lucas reached out towards her, making her eyes widen.

Mike smacked his hand away. "Stop it, you're freaking her out!"

"She's freaking me out!" He protested.

Dustin frowned. "I bet she's deaf." He clapped his hands in her face, making her jump. "Not deaf."

Oscar smacked him on the back of his head. "No, but you're an idiot." He snapped. "For now, let's get her changed into something warm. Mike?"

He nodded and went over to the laundry to grab some of his clean clothes. He snatched a pair of sweatpants and a blue sweater. "Here, these are clean." He brought them over to the girl.

Hesitantly, Eleven reached out and took the items, feeling them over briefly.

And then she stood up and started to pull her shirt off.

"NO NO NO NO NO NO-" The boys shrieked, turning away as Oscar grabbed the girl to stop her.

"Wow, no, okay, um, privacy. You need to change in private, here you can use the bathroom." Oscar told her awkwardly.

She seemed hesitant, but complied and went over to the bathroom. Mike went to shut the door but Eleven grabbed it to stop him. "Um...okay, you want it open...how about we just keep it open...like this." He kept the door open about three inches. "Better?"

"Yes." She replied quietly, surprising him.

He smiled. "Oh, you can speak. Alright, we'll wait out here for you to change." He told her before stepping away from the door and back to the others.

"She's mental. She tried to get naked. She literally went like-" Dustin made a stripping motion.

Oscar smacked him. "Have some class." He snapped.

"I bet she escaped from Pennhurst, she's clearly not right in the head." Lucas commented.

"What were we supposed to do? Leave her in the storm?" Mike snapped.

"Yes." Lucas nodded. "We went to find Will, not problems."

Dustin frowned. "We need to tell your guys' mom."

"No way, that's nuts." Oscar shook his head. "She'll flip, and then we'll have to explain exactly how we found her in the first place."

Mike nodded. "Exactly. Alright here's the plan, she stays here tonight. Tomorrow, we'll have her go around and knock on the door, mom will answer and know what to do."

"You're letting a girl stay here?" Lucas asked in shock.

"We don't have a choice." Oscar shrugged. "Look if it works out, we'll be in the clear and we can search for Will tomorrow."

The boys seemed reluctant, but conceded and headed upstairs to leave while the other two set up a spot for El.

They made a little cave under a table with blankets. El crawled into it.

"Hey, we never got your name." Oscar frowned.

She hesitantly held out her wrist and showed them the 011 tattooed onto it.

"Holy crap, is that real?" Oscar gasped.

"We've never seen a tattoo on a kid before." Mike added in awe.
