"OSCAR YOU HAVE THIRTY SECONDS OR WE'RE LEAVING WITHOUT YOU!" Nancy hissed from the other side of the bathroom door.

"ALRIGHT!" Oscar exclaimed in annoyance before looking himself over in the mirror.

His hair had grown out a couple inches, but he didn't let it get much further than that and still kept it messy as always. He'd started wearing multiple sports bras over each other to flatten his chest down. He was wearing a slightly shredded Hellfire Club t-shirt with a black leather jacket over it and some ripped jeans. His lip was still pierced but now he had a second lip piercing as well as three piercings in each ear.

All in all, he'd like to think he looked better now, more like a guy at least. He started high school with Mike, and this time he showed up going as Oscar instead of Olivia, and he also began using the boys bathroom, so nobody could even tell.

Great thing about neglectful parents, they couldn't control you as easily.

"Will sent you another letter." Mike told him as he stepped out, handing him the envelope.

"Thanks, I'll read it later." He tossed it in his bag as they scrambled to the kitchen.

Karen spoke up. "Guys I know your D&D club is tonight-"

"Hellfire." They corrected her.

"Why don't you just call it the school dropout club?" Their father huffed. "Olivia I told you to take those piercings out of your face."

Oscar flipped him off. "Just makes me want to get more!"

"I want you guys home no later than 9-" Karen added.

"We'll try." Mike insisted.

Karen huffed. "No trying, you need to get to bed early-"

"WHY!?"

"It's an early flight, Michael." Ted snapped. "Olivia if you go to California dressed like that I'm throwing out your game systems."

"I'M TREMBLING, OLD MAN!" Oscar retorted loudly just to spite him.

Mike sighed. "How are we gonna survive a whole week without you guys?" He asked sarcastically as he grabbed the poptarts from the toaster and Oscar grabbed water bottles.

They bolted out the door, where Nancy was waiting for them.

"This is so lame, what are we doing here?" Oscar complained as they stood with all the other students in the gym for the pep rally.

"Don't get your piercings in a twist." Mike huffed. "Did you read Will's letter?"

Oscar frowned. "I'll do it later."

"You know it's funny, every time you get a letter from him you say you'll read it later, and then I never see you reading them." Mike snapped.

"Worry about your own shit, Mike."

Dustin chimed in. "My girlfriend changed my grade for me you know, I'm not saying my girlfriend is better than yours, but she is kind of a genius."

"My girlfriend literally saved the world twice." Mike deadpanned as Max showed up to join them.

"What are they on about?" Max frowned.

Oscar rolled his eyes. "I don't know, who's girlfriend is better?" He shrugged. "Can I go now?"

"No!" Mike snapped. "We're supporting Lucas!"

And just then, Lucas and the rest of the basketball team came out, so everyone clapped for them.
