Naiwan silang magkasama ni Lex. She put away his hand na kanina pang nakaakbay dito. It’s when he realized that the show is over. He somewhat felt dismay for what she did.

“Were out of your lolo’s sight, show is over.” Sabi nito.

“Yeah.” Wala sa loob na sabi niya. “Maybe I should change. Don’t you think? I feel like san pedro sa soot ko.” He folded up his longsleeves.

“No, you look perfectly good with that.” narinig niyang sabi nito.

“Was that a compliment or an insult?” when he turned to look at her, her face was a span away from his.

He can completely feel her breath touches his ears. His world slows down as the music that echoed inside the hall plays slowly. And his heart’s speak to him to kiss her perfectly inviting full lips but his head says no.

“It’s a compliment.” Her voice breaks the moment.

“Thank you.” He act casual. Inayos niya ang kwelyo ng damit.

“Hey!” isang pamilyar na boses ang narinig niya mula sa likod nila. Nilingon nila pareho kung sino ang may-ari ng boses. “I didn’t expect that you’ll be married this soon.” Ang car racer.

“Hey! Kurt.. Why are you here?” nakita niyang masayang kausap ni Lex sa kararating lang.

What’s with this guy to make her get a crush on him at inimbita pa niya talaga dito.

Nagtagis ang mga bagang niya ng makitang nagbeso ang dalawa. “I’m actually with Lorine. I’m his date tonight.” Sabi nito.

“Oh, I see.” Sabi nitong si Lex. “Bet, you’re her boyfriend.”

Yeah, tell this woman that you’re taken to stop bothering you.

“No. we just bump to each other then she invited me here. If you don’t ask. That woman is a playgirl but, I’m not into her. I like someone else.” Sagot ng lalake.

“Who’s the lucky girl?” he interrupts. Ikinawit niya ang kamay sa baywang ng dalaga buti nalang at hindi ito tumanggi. Siguro’y nasa isip pa rin nitong ayaw niya lang may makahalata na umaakto lang sila.

“Well, she’s beautiful but imposible to get.” Hindi nito pinangalanan ang tinutukoy pero he has a hint na si Lex iyon. “I just wanna give you my warm congratulations.” Kurt changed the topic. Buti nalang ay ginawa nito iyon kundi ay tuluyan na niyang kaiinisan ito. “You’re friend Dominic. I’ve seen her a while ago.” Balik nito ng atensyon kay Lex. “Where is she?”

“I don’t know, kanina kasama ko siya. She’s really busy organizing this occasion. Why did you ask?” sagot nitong si Lex.

“Nothing.” At may binulong ang lalake sa babaeng katabi. Ngumiti pareho ang dalawa. It caused him irritated.

“I see.” Pagkuwan ay sabi ni Lex. “You should stick to your date, mister.”

Natawa naman ang isa.

Tama ba namang magbulungan sa harap ko?Tumikhim siya para ipadama ang presensya niya.

“Oh, I’m sorry pare.” Paumanhin ng lalake. “I just let her know something. Alis na ako. Enjoy.”

Yun lang at umalis ng nga ito.

“You shouldn’t do that.” sabi ng naiwang kasama.

“What did I do?” inalis niya ang kamay sa dalaga.

“You interrupt. Nagseselos ka ba?”

“Of course not. Ginawa ko lang ang dapat na ginawa ng isang asawang tulad ko sa asawa niyang nakikipagharutan sa iba sa harap niya.” Pagdadahilan niya.

“Oh yes. Yan ay kung totoong asawa nga kita.” Inis na sabi nito.

“Oops, I’m sorry, sige I won’t be doing that again. Play married to yourself!” Tumayo siya na akmang aalis ng pinigilan siya nito. “What? You’re going to say sorry and thank me for what I did for you?” umaasa siyang gagawin nga ito ng dalaga.

“You forgot your ribbon.” Nakita niyang iniaabot nito ang hinubad niyang kwintas na ribbon na may ibat ibang kulay.

Nadismaya siya. “Oh, Forget it!” at tuluyan na ngang lumabas.

He walked to the deck at sumandig sa barrier. He looked at the full moon that makes the sea lighted.

If you can’t love me, atleast give me some value. Napabuntong hininga siya pumasok sa isip niya. I hate you woman for making me feel wanting you. Konting tiis na lang. makakalayo rin ako sayo. And when that happens I’ll make sure we will not cross each others path anymore.
