Chapter 34: This feeling is amazing

Engfa's POV

I thought I was dreaming when I saw Char on my side, pinching her cheeks to see if she was real again. "Auch!! That hurts..." Char made a fuss about it, but to me, she looked adorable.

She kept holding my hand as she sat beside my bed and didn't intend to lose contact with me. With what happened in the past, I am now out of control, and all I wanted to do was embrace her tightly because I didn't want to let her go. 

Looking into her eyes, I opened my arms widely to let her know that I wanted to hug her, and she didn't even have to think twice about doing that to me. 

All this time, I thought we couldn't work this out, but only a hug from her made me erase my negative thoughts and let me live in the moment. I'm blessed that she didn't take the flight. "What is happening?" I was surprised to see her here. 

"At the last minute, before the flight took off, I realized I couldn't leave you this way. Unproud of what I do, I turned back and was actually about to meet you and come clean about me leaving so suddenly. I don't want you to be upset because of me." She was now playing with my hand, which meant she was nervous about what she had to say.

Then, she remembered how I fainted and told me, "And I am sorry for causing you to be admitted to the hospital. I promise that I will take care of you with all my heart. I don't want to harm you anymore because of my rash decision..."

Listening to her constantly apologizing to me made me feel bad, but there's one thing I wanted to know from her, "Did you hear my conversation with my mother just now?" I just wanted to ensure she didn't hear that I said I liked her. 

"No, I don't. Why? Did you say something about me?" Char challenged me while smirking. She probably acted like she didn't hear it because she wanted me to declare it clearly in front of her. 

But I denied it and moved on because I didn't know how to act in front of her now that her hands were slowly moving towards my forearms, which were my most sensitive area. 

At that moment, I knew she was messing with me because I could see her mischievousness in her eyes when her pupils dilated, showing that she was getting aroused. I smiled unknowingly for the first time in a while because of her behaviour.

On the inside, I was screaming, but on the outside, I played it cool, trying to pretend that she did not affect me. But she knew me way too well and teased me even more, "What are you gushing about Fa~?" She slid her other hand against my thigh, acting like she was trying to massage my leg.

"What...are you doing?" I become nervous due to her sudden moves on me. I don't know if I liked it, but damn, my heart is fluttering. Suddenly, I feel a little hot in a full-blasted air-conditioned room. 

Despite me asking her a question, she didn't take her eyes off me, leaving me with no words left to speak. Not wanting to have her full attention of me, I quickly wrapped myself in a blanket because I was all shy.

Perhaps, it's just us two in the room tonight, making the ambience a bit alluring. However, she unwrapped me carefully, summoning me to face her. Now, I had her full attention, and I became wide awake, trying to depict her thoughts. 

I was sitting on the bed, watching her back with my eyes open. I know I am still shy to confess my love to her but having said that, I wanted her to know that I like her too. 

Building my courage, I go ahead and kiss her as if it were our last time. But she's already made her way to my lips and our kisses synchronized. So instantaneous, and our tongues fought for one another as we became urgent to taste each other. 

My eyes clenched shut when Char bit my lower lips, making me pause because I was pleased. Trying to squirm my lips back to hers, I cling to her to intensify the kiss more, making me feel a little dizzy because she was basically sucking my air. 

Looking back, I don't regret kissing her. It was iconic!

In fact, it was the best decision that I've ever made in my entire life because I was kissing someone I love, except for my mom, obviously!
