Finally, Xerxes and his crew were back in Germany. He was happy and relieved to see his mother smile as the first thing she did was kill the man that had caused them so much trouble back in the states. Still, they had the issue with Talia and were nowhere near finding out who had taken her. To top it off, the Nigerians were making more noise than usual, and it was starting to drive him and the others crazy.
"Uncle C, please tell me you found something during your trip to Nigeria."
"Nothing that could help us. Everyone there saw me as a traitor and refused to talk. The only reason they didn't take my head was because they were scared of you all. The Oni isn't one to be messed with, but some don't get that picture. I will tell you that whoever started this back knew a lot about the drama between our families. Although I don't think it's Emmanuel's fallback child. It has to be someone else that was close to him. They don't know that they can't hide in the shadows forever, and it only shows their true colors."
"Yeah, they're a punk ass bitch, just like all the rest. I hate bastards like this, ones that like to start up shit and hide as they're doing it. Gangs have bigger balls than some of these mafias. It's the same old thing over and over again. Some of them should be tired of this by now." Xerxes spoke as Chance nodded. He knew what X was saying was true, and there was no more to say.
After Chance left his office, Xerxes went back over some other papers that might have included information about his sister's whereabouts. It pained him to consider, yet ever since that phone call, he had been thinking this. His suspicion that Talia had left on her own was increasing. Though he stubbornly refused to accept it, there was nothing to suggest otherwise.
"X, can I speak with you?"
"If it's nothing about what's going on between you and my sister, then no." He spoke without even looking up at the man before him. Dom was playing this kept my mouth shut game, and Xerxes was ready to put a bullet between his eyes.
"Talia and I's private life is just that. Private...."
"And you're fucking gay, Dominick," Xerxes said as he watched the color drain from the man's face. "What you thought that I wouldn't find out. Actually, it was my dad, and he confronted your father, who told him the truth. The fucked up thing is you've been cheating on my sister for the past six years, and she's been damn faithful. For what I don't understand, but I don't care about that. I care about where my fucking sister is!" Xerxes screamed while he hit the desk hard, making all his dogs stand alert.
"I don't know where Lia's at. If I did would tell you but as for that other thing... I didn't want you all looking down on me. It was hard enough telling my dad that his firstborn son liked the same sex, then I had to break Talia's heart telling her."
"Yeah, Dom, the stupidest thing you did was marry Lia. You did that for your own benefit, and you weren't thinking about how it would harm her. But I have to ask, is it a possibility she was seeing someone else? I know you're the father of her children, but I also know how that happened. I'm impressed that the two of you were able to slip that past my mother and me... When we get Talia back. I say when because my sister will be coming home safe and sound. Know that, but also know that the two of you will be divorcing. There is no need to hold each other back from finding love. Dominick, you should have come to me, we're family, and I would never look down on you because of your sexuality. You should know this and look at your brother. Also, if I did, it wouldn't make me a great leader." X spoke as Dominick gave him a stiff nod.
"Thank you... Look more into the Russians. I don't know, but I feel it has something to do with them. Xerxes, when I say Russians, I mean all of the Russian mafias. You know we could never be too sure about anything these days."
