Madison hated not knowing what to do. Adaku was missing, and she was sure the girl had gone back home. Ndidi was also driving her crazy, making her wish that she had killed the bitch, but she was told not to by Emmanuel. Why... she had no idea, but of course, the man had his reasons. She couldn't get back into Germany without Xerxes knowing, which was a downer because this year, they were planning a Christmas Party for the mafias they trusted. It wasn't a doubt. It was something behind it all.
"Mistress, you should send someone else in.
"Or she could tell us the real reason we are going after the Köhler's. Madison, I loved Emmanuel like he was my father but this plan. Something is off. Why would he ask you to have a baby to run the Abdullahi Mafia? Think about it. You'll be doing nothing. Xerxes is already the leader of this clan. Emmanuel was never the Don." Yejide spoke, handing her some papers.
She was right. Emmanuel just had their people think he was Don. The man that adopted him never put anything in writing. It was only Manuel's words. Obioma was the Donna, which made Axel the Don, and neither knew. Now since Xerxes had the Köhler Mafia, it made him their Don. Something that worried Madison as she let out a long sigh sitting back in her seat speechless.
"He told me this was the only way I could get my revenge. Have a child from the Abdullahi bloodline, and I will figure out the rest."
"Which is impossible, Mistress. None of them are true, Abdullahi's but Luca, Chance, Obasi, and Ime. You would need their children to fulfill this, not their grandchildren. Emmanuel was driven by hate, Mistress. He hated them because he wasn't a true Abdullahi. Emmanuel was a child Don Abdullahi found on the streets of Nigeria. He showed pity and gave him a home, and in return, he killed him. He was ungrateful, stuck on himself, and you are following the steps of your father. For what? For power, you will never have."
Madison was tired of listening to the woman as she quickly stood leaving the room. She knew nothing. Maybe she didn't have a reason to go after the family that raised her, but it was her father's wishes that she tended to follow. Then again, she wasn't ready to die if Xerxes caught her. Maddi knew she had done some damage and doubted they would forgive her. Now she was stuck and needed to figure out which way to turn. Thinking about it now, she should have gone to Luca when Emmanuel first came to her.
"Riley, you can't keep the girl locked away. All children make mistakes, and they have to learn from them. Be grateful that the boy she is pregnant by wants to be with her." Melody spoke while Xerxes sat back and listened. Ri wasn't taking the fact that Xylia was pregnant well, and neither was X but knew it was partially their fault for letting them have too much freedom. Still, it was nothing they could do about it now.
"I know this, Mel. What I'm pissed about is it was someone we trusted to watch over our fucking twins."
"And two years older than him. I could have told you that was a fuck up. Just because they are guards does not mean they don't have desires. It could have been any of the others. They fucked up, so make them pay for it. Having a child is hard whether you are rich or poor. Shit, they will soon see. Plus, the twins will be eighteen soon." Reese shrugged, making Xerxes sit up from his seat with his brow arched.
