Luca and Chance stood back in the darkest part of the church, watching as their brother waiting for Ndidi to show. For some reason or another, Luca didn't trust this and believed all of it was a setup to kill his brother, but they needed answers, and this was the only way. If they could catch Ndidi or one of Madison's little followers, anything could help.
Still, it felt like forever and a day of waiting, maybe because it was in the one place, he wished not to be. A church was the last place Luca wanted to spend his day, and he felt like the man above was waiting for a chance to strike him down. Chance had to notice this because the fool stood over on the other side of the room with a crazy smirk on his face as a dark skin woman walked in that definitely wasn't Ndidi.
Quickly Chance made his way over to Luca, and he noticed the man looked pale. He had to have known the woman, but she was new to him. "There's no fucking way! No fucking way! Luca, that's the damn Princess! King Tayo's daughter shouldn't be here. If the King is working with Madison, we're fucked."
"The King must not know we the fuck we are. I want to know why the King of Nigeria would be stupid enough to align himself with a nobody. It makes no sense. Madison has to have something over the man's head."
Luca and Chance agreed on this. It was foolish for the King to go against the most powerful mafia in the world, knowing that they could kill him with no regrets. Although Xerxes wasn't in control of the Nigerian mafia he still have the most power in the country because of his grandmother. Obioma left a big portion of her power to Luca, who gave it to his son, which gave them greater power in Nigeria.
"Text my son, tell him of this. We need King Tayo on the phone or here asap."
Obasi stood around for about fifteen minutes, pissed because he thought none was about to show until he turned around, seeing the last person he thought he would see. Princess Adaku walking his way. His mouth suddenly fell open, looking around the room for a trap or Ndidi to jump out with a gun pointed at his head. None of that came... still, what was she doing here? Certainly, she couldn't be working for Madison, and if she was. Did her father know? Or was he in on this?
"Princess, what are you doing here?"
"Saving you and your family Obasi. My father sent me in to make sure that Emmanuel was dead. What I found was a big load of shit. We didn't know that he had left that woman in charge or that he wasn't a true Abdullahi. All of it belongs to your nephew, Obasi. I've been doing what I can to stop Madison, but it isn't enough. I thought for sure if I lied to Ndidi about who she was, it would help me turn her against the woman, but she chose her side as always... where is the rest of your family. I didn't think you would actually follow my directions." She shrugged, stepping closer to him as Obasi pointed his gun at her head.
Princess or not, she was working with Madison, and he was curious if he could trust her or not. In his head, all of this could have been a setup, and Maddi or Ndidi was somewhere waiting to kill him or one of his brothers. Adaku couldn't be expecting him to act this way as she quickly stepped back with her hands in the air. Still, it could have all been an act.
