"Ahh, look, her belly is growing!" Ava yelled as she walked in, seeing Shanice sitting on the counter watching Xavier cook her breakfast. Slowly Zay turned to his wife, looking down at her stomach and then at his cousin with a smile.
"It's still flat. What the fuck are you seeing?" He asked, shaking his with a laugh. "With how she eats, we should be seeing something by now. I mean, she is three months pregnant...."
"WITH TWINS!"
"ELIAS, SHUT THE HELL UP! NOBODY IS PREGNANT WITH TWINS, FOOL!" Shanice yelled back as he and Yejide sat in the living room watching television. Xavier was glad the girl had finally come around and decided to give Elias a try. He was going slow with her by taking her out on dates and other things, which was all good, while she helped him try and locate Rochelle.
"We are doing the baby reveal early. I can't wait to see your face when you see what you are having."
"It's a boy...."
"No, a girl," Xavier said as Shanice turned to him with her brow raised. Yes, he wanted a girl. Xeon may have been his little brother, but he felt like the boy was his son half the time because he never stayed home.
"Mhm, I guess we have to see this Saturday...."
"I have to work this Saturday," Shanice said as Ava shook her head, telling her no. Both worked at the hospital with his dad so Xavier knew it would be easy for her to get off if needed. Plus, he felt that Ava had already talked to his father about the whole body reveal thing.
"I TALKED TO MOM!" Ryleigh yelled as she walked into the house with a big smile. "I'm not too happy that she has another baby on the way with Tobias. I don't like that man, and it isn't because of him and mom. Something isn't right about him...."
"I could say the same thing about Amoy." Lyric spoke.
"No talking about who our parents' are screwing. How will we all be adults if we let the lives of others influence us? What they did was on them. Mom made that choice to cheat and left our dad. Dad made a choice to cheat, and he decided he wanted Amoy. There is nothing we can do about it, and I hope you didn't run your mouth to mom about what dad is doing because it's not her business anymore. The day she left was the last day she could care about what he does, and the same goes for him."
"Damn, did Barkley's dick knock some sense into your head. Where is he, by the way?" Elias asked as Xylia picked up a pillow, smacking him in the face as Omari laughed.
"Bark and I are not fucking, and mind your own business. He will be here and a few. He said he had something to tell us about something he found or he found it. I don't know. He was secretive about the whole thing but seemed to be happy about it at the same time." She spoke while Lias waved her off and played with Omarion.
Xylia was right, their parents' business wasn't their problem, but it hurt not to see them together. Xavier knew couples had problems, but he wished never to have the same ones as his parents. He wanted his wife to know he loved her and would do anything for her. At the same time, they both needed to understand they were in marriage together and could talk to one another if something was wrong.
"If... no, when you Barkley marry, are you going to move to Jamaica and leave us?" Harper asked, making Xylia look at her little sister.
"Yes and no... Barkley and I talked about that. I know he has duties in Jamaica, and I will have duties here. So it will be a back and forward thing, but we will mainly live here. He likes it here because he feels like he has a family. Even know, he has family back in Jamaica. I guess Opa, Oma, and Grandpa Rod will do that to people when everyone hated Amoy for what she had done. They were nice to the woman. I know I said no talking about who our parents are screwing, but I like her, and no, it's not because she and Barkley were raised as cousins. She makes dad smile; I haven't seen him do that since we were about fourteen or fifteen. Maybe younger." She said as all of them looked at each other and agreed, even the quints, which was shocking.
