Everything had been going great for Xavier for the past couple of days. He just found out that he passed one of the hardest classes and was about to get his first job. However, his mom fussed non-stop about it. Yeah, they had money, but the one thing his father and Opa Luca taught him was to earn his own. He wanted to do this and didn't want to feel like an entitled brat just because his family had money.
"Hey!"
"Hi..." Zavier spoke, a little frustrated. He was in the middle of something, and this girl just had to pop up out of nowhere as she always did. Jasira was a sweet girl but a little older, so his mom warned him to stay away while reminding him that he was going with Summer. It wasn't like he could forget. She always made it known to every girl that tried to talk to him.
"Do you mind? Don't answer that! I promise you I don't mean any harm; I want to talk... you know, get to know you. I've always been a fan of you and your family. When I saw we were in the same college, I freaked and seeing you at the mall that day. By the way, I'm sorry about that. Your twin didn't seem too happy about it and was a bit of a hard ass, though, and your cousins. But you... you seem levelheaded and sweet."
"Funny how you don't know me at all. I like to keep to myself for a reason. Right now, I'm studying."
Jasira stared at him for a long second before smiling again, causing him to sigh. Xavier thought maybe she would catch on to what he was saying and leave. Instead, she pulled out her anatomy book and notes, sitting as she turned towards him.
"I heard you were smart, and I need help with this class... please. I promise I'll be on my best behavior." She spoke with a pouty face. Zavier wanted to say no but noticed how she struggled in class. Just a few days ago, she failed one of their major tests, and he knew it put a dent in her grade.
"Fine, what do you need help with."
"This!" Jasira pointed. "I understand, but I don't understand. Sometimes I think I should have become a nurse, but I wanted to go big." She laughed, causing Xavier to chuckle after sitting with her for about two hours. Zavier realized she was sweet, laid back, and just looking for a friend. He didn't know what he was thinking but decided to exchange numbers to help her study before leaving.

Another day went by, and Alexei was still missing. For days he had been ignoring Talia's phone calls. She was fed up with his bullshit, and if he didn't want to be with her. All he had to do was say it. She wasn't the one begging to be with him, and she wasn't about to. Plus, it was Alexei that suggested that they should be together. For this, she could have stayed with Dominick and endured his shit.
"Should I be scared?"
"Go the fuck away!" Nikolai was getting on Talia's last nerve. He and Kon were driving her crazy, informing her every chance they got that Alexei wasn't going to change for her. It was the same story about how he was an old dog stuck in his ways. Well, Talia wasn't going to put up with it. That much she knew. Soon as he was back in her home, he was going to make a choice. Her or his whores. He couldn't have both, and it was clear that he wanted his hoes more since he hadn't touched her since Russia.
