"Where were you?" Xavier asked his sister as she walked into the house moments before curfew. Lately, she was getting later and later coming in, and he was getting tired of covering for her. Zay should've told his father about Xylia and what she was doing, but he wanted to be on her side, thinking she would do the right thing. "You are making it easy for someone to jack your ass." He shook his head as Shanice stepped to the side, making Xylia smile.
"The real question; What were the two of you doing? Shy, were you having a late-night snack?"
"Xy, get your damn head out of the gutter. Do you think I'm that damn dumb to be doing some shit like that in our parents' kitchen? Shy, the quints, and I were watching a movie. You know that movie that you fail to make it to."
Quickly Xylia smiled, making Xavier realize she had forgotten all about the movie causing him to sigh. It was like this all the time lately, and he knew why even now, she was denying it. Xylia was messing around with Henry against his wishes, and the bad thing was he feared for the boy's life.
"If dad or mom finds out...."
"Dad nor mom won't find out shit because it's nothing to find out, Xavier. I was out with Ava and Rochelle. You can ask them. Look, I'm sorry about movie night, and I will make it up to you this weekend. Plus, you don't need me anymore; you have your fiancée."
"Xylia, don't start with that shit." He spoke as she walked past him to her room, shutting the door before he and the others could reach it. Xavier knew he and Shanice had been spending a lot of time together, but it was for a reason. Xylia was pushing them away.

"Did we find anything in Florida?" Jeremias asked as Xerxes walked into his room. The man almost lost his life weeks ago and was still worried about finding Madison beside the man who attacked him. Alexei was still on the run, and it surprised Xerxes that he made it out of the country undetected.
"She was tipped off that we were coming or wasn't in the location that Adaku thought she was in. Someone is working in the Palace, or we still have a spy. A useless one because they are no threat to us. Madison has no idea what she is doing, and the only threat she is... is wanting Xavier. Something she will never have. How are you doing today?"
"You're asking the man confined to a bed for the next two weeks how he is doing. I'm ready to go fucking home, X, and you're not letting that shit happen. I miss my wife and children...."
"And your well-being comes first, Mias. I hate to break this down in medical terms, but you are in no shape to be home. Alexei did a number on you, and if he were three more inches to the right, your ass would have been dead. Think about how that and how your wife and children would have felt. I cannot risk you going home and doing something stupid, killing yourself, and we have other problems besides Madison and Alexei. The Tigers are making noise in China and thought it would be nice to come into our country and start some shit attacking our men. I need to make sure you are well before letting you join this fight." Xerxes explained as Jeremias threw his head back and sighed.
