"Did you really do it?"

"Yeah, and I feel like a total jackass. I drove him in the arms of another woman to make me feel better about what I am doing." Riley sighed as she sat back on the bed, looking over the man she had fallen in love with that wasn't her husband. What was she thinking? She had left her children and the man she had been with for over twenty-something years for a man that walked into her life a little over a year ago.

"You should have told him the truth. You fell out of love with him and loved another."

"Do you think Xerxes would have let me go that easy?"

"What I think is you are still in love with the boy. You were still fucking him and me, may I add." The man said as Riley looked over at him rolling her eyes. What the hell did he expect? If she had turned down Xerxes's advances, he would have known something was wrong.

"I have one final thing to do, and I'm done with him. It's just you and me...."

"What about your children? I thought you were going to get the two youngest ones?"

"Well, things change. I had a run-in with Evie, and she stopped me from taking Xeon. I knew she would be watching me, so I left Avery too. Then I thought about it if I took them. Xerxes won't rest until he found his babies. Yeah, he will look for me but not how he would look for his children.

"I still said you should have told the truth."

"He would have killed you! It's not like you are some fucking random stranger. He knows you, trusted you, the whole family does, and you betrayed him by sleeping with his Donna after he saved your ass. I couldn't let that happen... so I made him hate me. I made him and my children hate me so they wouldn't notice us." Riley spoke, knowing that Xerxes didn't hate her. Not yet, anyhow, but he would soon. Once he found out why she left and with who. Riley also had other secrets bound to come to light and feared the worst. She knew the only person that could help her now was her mother as she texted her, telling her the whole truth.

"Damn, you look like shit, bro."

"I feel like shit. I didn't get any sleep before leaving for here, and now all we are doing is running around trying to get shit settled for Xavier's wedding." Xerxes said as he walked into the venue that was supposed to be booked, and somehow it wasn't. They had everything ready to go, but the assholes claimed to have never received the payment when he had the proof.

"I see you and Riley are still going at it. I haven't seen Riley today. Come to think of it. She wasn't on the plane either." Elijah spoke, making him think back. He didn't see her either. Hell, Xerxes hadn't seen his wife in two days. For one, he was avoiding her. X had fucked up and didn't know how to tell his wife. Then it was the issue of her telling him it was over and that she didn't want anything else to do with him. Maybe after she calmed down, they could get the help they needed.
