"It's been weeks, Nikolai, and it's been no signs of him. If you didn't find anything earlier, you're not going to find it now." Kon spoke as his son nodded, looking through some of their video footage from home. Nikolai was hoping to find something on Alexei, but there was nothing. They knew he couldn't have gotten far in the shape he was in. Still, they were starting to wonder where he could have gone. Although Talia could care less, she was hoping the bastard had died in a ditch somewhere, but it was only wishful thinking.
"He deserves death. One thing that father taught us was to never turn on our allies, and he did. I don't care if he was getting tortured. Hell, he deserved it for putting his hands on Lia. What the fuck was he thinking? Then again, the asshole wasn't thinking. Alexei never does. Look how he has done us. Lexei has no heart. Your family should have killed him." Sasha shrugged, staring at her father, who looked down at the floor.
Talia understood. The man didn't want his son dead, but it wasn't the best solution. If Xerxes had killed him, Jeremias wouldn't have been in ICU for the last four weeks, but as there, Opa said never question yourself on what ifs or could haves. What they did next mattered the most, and Talia knew once her little brother found Alexei. He is going to die.
"There is no need to question it now. My main concern is the woman who is carrying my child and the one carrying my first grandchild. I'm still in disbelief that I'm about to be a father once again. I'm too fucking old for this shit...."
"You weren't too old to be sticking your dick into Talia. Were you?" Sasha laughed as Kon shook his head. "Lia, what about that sexy uncle of yours?"
"Stick with Tobias. Uncle Obasi isn't looking for another woman yet. I think he needs time to progress with what his wife has done to him. Or he is interested in the Princess; I couldn't tell you." Talia said as Sasha nodded with a smile. She and Tobias seemed to be hitting it off pretty well, and Talia didn't see the need to ruin it.
"Find by me. His dick...."
"SASHA, NO!" Her brother and father yelled as Talia and Sabrina laughed at the girl's goofy smile. She knew she was getting under their skin, and she loved it. "Dad, didn't you have something that you were supposed to be doing tonight?" Nikolai asked as Konstantin stood quickly, only to kneel in front of Talia.
Her heart started to hammer out of her chest, watching as the man pulled out a black box and opened it revealing a beautiful princess-cut diamond ring. Sasha started to squeal while Nikolai covered her mouth to stop her. It wasn't something she expected the man to do, but it bought joy to her heart.
"I don't have a big speech plan, only that I love you and would be the happiest man on earth if you agree to be my wife."
"Did my dad put you up to this because...."
"No, Sweet Angel, I went to your father, and he gave us his blessing, and so did your mother. Neither one of them said anything about you being pregnant. The only thing they wanted me to know was to treat you right, or they would kill me."
"Yeah, sounds about right with those two." She smiled, holding out her hand. "Yes, I will marry you," Talia said, making the man smile as he slipped the ring on while the others yelled, which caused Brayden to look at them all crazy as he reached for Kon. Dominick and Konstantin had the boy spoiled to the point he didn't even want his mother.
