I groan out in frustration while picking up the remains of Jo's midnight snacking from last night. He's been staying with me for the past few days while his house goes under some remodeling; he claims he can't tap into his creative self with all the abrupt noises. I didn't mind to let him stay for as long as he needed, but this man really does not know when to pick up after himself.

He's gone out to the studio before me this morning to get some work done. I finish cleaning up the rest of his mess and prepare myself a cup of coffee to go. I really hope we get breakfast after the session, because I don't have time to eat now.

"I'll be home in a few hours, please pick up after yourself." I speak over to Dixie, receiving an annoyed meow, and shut the door behind me.

Joseph landed in L.A last night and he planned for us to do something today. In all honesty, I wanted to stay home like usual. I couldn't tell him that though. Even though I doubt he came to L.A just for me, I felt bad for not seeing him while he was already here.

I make it to the studio a few minutes before my session started. I couldn't waste a second from my studio time today, I haven't been here to work in months.

"Good morning, Ms. Sparks." A well-dress lady sat behind the desk. It wasn't the usual girl who sits there when I come, but I respond back with a warm smile in return.

"There you are! I think I just struck gold." Jo frantically shoves his laptop into my arms, causing me to drop my cup filled with coffee. I gasp as the lid suddenly pops off and hot coffee spilling all over the carpet. "Whoops."

I was already set off with the mess he left me to clean this morning, now he just made me make a big mess in a place that wasn't mine. I close my eyes to contain my anger and calmly bent down to pick up my cup. I had no necessary supplies to clean this, so I resorted to scraping my sneaker against the stained carpet. With the laptop still in my hands, I sit down at the nearest table and begin to see what Jo was so excited about that he couldn't wait.

"Press play." He pushes while sitting next to me. I look over at him from the screen and glare, making him hunker down and back off.

I hit play and immediately hear the sweet and groovy beat he created. I smile, even through the tenseness in my body, finally being able to relax for the first time today. I swear, if it wasn't for music I don't know how else I would be sane. I finished up listening to Jo's creation and gave it a second listen.

"It's really good. Do you have any lyrics for it?" I ask, pausing it in the middle of playing.

He shakes his head and takes the laptop from me, "Not yet, I was just messing around a bit waiting for you to get here."

The snark tone within his words made my body tense again. I guess it's true when people say to never move in with your best friend; you'll begin to see the absolute worst in them.

"I was busy cleaning up the mess you made." I snap back but he ignored and continued to mess around on the laptop.

I sigh and lean back into the chair with my arms crossed. Just two more hours and I'll be able to lock myself in my room with Dixie for some peace and quiet.

We continued the session making lyrics for the beat he made. Jo even called Jamie while he was on set to ask for some ideas. I missed Jamie a lot, honestly. I wonder if he becomes as repulsive as Jo can be at times. I shake the thoughts away in my head and look at the time, noticing we only had about 10 minutes left.

"You can go ahead and go, I wanna work on something really quick." I tell Jo, head deep into writing in my journal. He didn't respond. I heard him pack up his things while on the phone with Jamie still and eventually made his way out of the studio.
