"What about this?"

I grab the pen from Maya and start writing out some ideas. I've become better at learning her music style and it's very different from mine. It gives me some insight on different writing techniques and Maya's are definitely interesting. She insisted that we travel an hour away from set to write some music together, no distractions.

This has been the longest I've been away from home, but it's honestly been amazing. I've grown so much closer with everybody and I think Maya and I have officially become best friends. She's been so vulnerable with me while writing and I've tried to do the same. It's hard being open to so many people, but I think her and Joseph are my top priority.

Him and I have become exceptionally closer, too. Everyone keeps being nosy about our relationship, but nothing has been made official. I think we both have a similar understanding of taking things slow which is everything I could ask for.

"Guess I don't need to run away with his love. I don't need to protect, I should be afraid of this love." I speak out as I write it down at the same time.

Maya grabs the crinkled piece of paper that we first threw away then scavenged for it when we realized it was good. She read the words silently before motioning me to play the chords again. I set the guitar in position and start back up. She now sings the words and the flow sounds choppy but I think that's what works with this song. She adds a couple more lines before getting back into the chorus again, I join her.

"I think we finally have a song." She holds her hands up for a high five and I oblige.

"Only took 2 hours." I joke.

We pack everything up and plan to head back to set. We've been off for about a week and we start up again tomorrow. It's become a normal routine at this point.

I've started becoming more and more excited for the making of the show knowing what's happening. We get our scripts once a week depending how long it takes to film each scene which is a long time. We've all started guessing our theories for the rest of the season which is something I've done since the first season so it's insanely surreal.

"Have you heard anything yet?" Maya asks as I focus on the road. I look over at her for a split second, seeing the excitement on her face. I press my lips tightly together and shake my head. Although I haven't checked my phone since this morning, I just know nothings been said.

Drew and I talked more about taking my career further again. I've considered signing with him again, I just haven't had the time to fly back to L.A to meet with him. I came up with the decision to release Overkill myself, no label, just to see how it would do. So far, I don't see any reason why I should be signed and release more of my own music. I think it's just abnormal for someone like me who writes music for others to show off my other skills with actually singing them. I haven't heard any bad things about it, but not enough people have proved to me that I should keep going.

The drive didn't feel as long as it first did as we pull into the parking lot. It seems really packed today which is unusual. Maya and I figured it was for whatever scene we were shooting next, so we get out of the car and walk toward the trailers. I notice sounds of a crowd yelling, more like chanting. It sounds like fan yelling.

"Did they really find where we're staying? Has this happened before?" I ask nervously, not knowing how to approach this.

Maya takes my hand and starts making a beeline toward the front gates. My assumptions have been made clear after seeing at least 50 people cheering at the front gate toward all the trailers. I look over at Maya who's now stopped her sprinting.
