"William, Evelyn, be ready to head out", the director said
"Yeah", both Will and Evelyn said in unison, fixing their microphones
"Hey, Evie... I'm proud of you", Will said, "fighting overblots, just be thankful mom and dad don't know, they'll pull you out of school",
"Please don't tell them", Evelyn pleaded, "I'm getting stronger, I'm not the shut-in girl you saw at the beginning of the semester; well... a little bit, but...",
"Secrets safe with me", Will said
"Hopefully, I didn't scare Sarah, I know she worries about me", Evelyn said
"No... she's proud of you", Will reassured, "if she saw what I saw... I don't know what she'd do to you honestly",
"All good things, that's what I know", Evelyn said, turning her gaze toward the stage; unknown to her, Will had a distant look on his face but it was quickly removed as the director walked in the room
"William, Evelyn, it's time", the director said
"Ready to head out", Evelyn asked
"Let's go", Will said as the two walked out on stage, there was a large crowd that cheered when they walked out; Evelyn immediately spotted almost all her friends, her family, even Sarah from the crowd which did wash away her nervousness
"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome and thank you for coming to Night Raven College", Evelyn announced, "this year's Vocal and Dance Championship will now begin",
The audience roared in cheers
"Our first performance will be... the representatives from this school, Night Raven College", Will announced, "they will be performing, Absolutely Beautiful",
As Evelyn and Will left the stage, the Night Raven group entered the stage and began to perform, as they finished, the crowd went wild with cheers
"Goodness me... a standing ovation from just one song", Will announced, he and Evelyn appearing on the stage, "that was a wonderful performance from Vil Schoenheit and Night Raven College",
"Thank you, everyone, let's meet again soon", Vil stated as he and the others left the stage
"And now, let us welcome our next performers, Royal Sword Academy", Evelyn announced as Neige and his group entered the stage
"Hello everyone", Neige greeted as the audience went wild; as Evelyn and Grim left the stage, both immediately ran toward the group to check up on Vil, though he was down, he was alright; when Royal Sword was done, Will and Evelyn immediately returned to the stage
"All the teams have finished performing, let's invite them back on stage", Will said as both groups entered the stage
"Our victors today will be decided by your votes", Evelyn said, holding up her phone, "a QR code will be provided soon, scan it and two options will appear",
"Choose whoever you thought did the best", Will stated, "we'll announce it as soon as its in",
The audience pulled out their phones and began to vote when the code appeared, both Evelyn and Will starring at their phones after voting, looking at the votes that were coming in, after a few minutes...
"And the votes are in, voting is closed", Evelyn said
"Whoa... we have a winner by one vote", Will announced, shocking everyone
"Our winners are...", Evelyn began as both Will and Evelyn used their signature spell to send a mixture of electricity and paint into the sky, it exploded like a firework, Royal Swords logo appearing in the sky
