The Farewell Party

(A Week Later, Diasomnia, Lounge)

"Everyone, thank you very much for coming to the "Lilia Vanrouge Farewell Party", today", Lilia announced, "it has been two and a half years since I entered Night Raven College, the time I spent here was full of youth everyday; it's my treat today, feel free to eat, talk, and get noisy as much as you want",

All the students in the room, even the teachers clapped their hands, most students cheering; almost everyone walked up to Lilia to say their farewells.

"Lilia", Evelyn called out, gaining his attention.

"Evelyn, nice to see you here", Lilia greeted.

"So, this is it... you'll be leaving soon", Evelyn said.

"Yep, I'm at that age where I just wanna sit back and relax", Lilia stated.

"I understand, but do promise to visit every now and then, if you can", Evelyn asked.

"As long as I don't have to do any work", Lilia teased, causing the two to laugh, "is your kingdom still holding its Founding Festival",

"It is, it's mainly for all the kingdoms, not just mine", Evelyn explained, "should you come visit, I'm sure you'll have a grand time like the people do",

"And let me wish you an early happy birthday", Lilia said.

"It's not till awhile, but thank you", Evelyn said, "I'll let you get back to the others, stay safe out there",

"You too", Lilia said as she walked away, returning over to Ace, Deuce, and Grim who had spotted Ortho entering the dorm.

"Ah, Ortho, over here", Ace called out, gaining his attention.

"You guys are here too", Ortho asked, making his way towards them.

"...You're so late, Ortho, this delicious meat is almost finished", Grim stated, mouth still full of food.

"Don't talk with your mouth full, Grim", Evelyn reminded.

"Thank you, but I don't need an oral intake of energy, so it's fine", Ortho said.

"You're pretty late, did something happen", Deuce asked.

"I was trying a high difficulty quest to bring my brother to this party", Ortho explained.

"I see, so, looking at the situation now, you must have failed the quest, right", Ace asked.

"He was much more stubborn today", Ortho muttered, "it's probably because of the shocking thing that happened yesterday, that's why he really can't bring himself to attend this party",

"Is this about that game he plays", Evelyn asked as Ortho nodded his head.

"One of his online friends has retired", Ortho stated, "didn't exchange contacts either... he was sad that the ties were completely cut off",

"A friend who gets along with Idia, huh", Grim said, "that person must have been damp like a carpet that was soaked with rainwater",

"Grim", Evelyn warned.

"U-Umm, my brother isn't like that when he's on the internet", Ortho stated, "...I mean, he's much more hyper",

"He is", Deuce asked.

"Well, there are some people who are different in real life and online", Ace explained, "age, gender, appearance, personality... you can set them however you like on the internet",

"For me, staying anonymous on the internet is almost nothing to me", Ortho said, "it's easy to reveal the identity of the brother's online friends... but he told me not to do it this time",
