Nash, Riolu, and Froakie run through the city with Buck and Carmin close behind with Squirtle and Fennekin

Carmin: Come on Nash! Slow down!

Buck: The Gym isn't going anywhere!

Nash: Yeah I know! But I really want to win this battle! Riolu wants to win this too!

Riolu: Olu!

Froakie: Kie, Kie, Froa!

Nash and his Pokémon speed up

Carmin: You've got to be kidding me!

"At the Coumarine Gym"

Robot: Sorry, the Gym is still closed.

Nash: What? No. No!

Riolu and Froakie frown. Carmin, Buck and their Pokémon arrive and breathe heavy

Buck: It's still closed isn't it?

Nash nods

Robot: Affirmative.

Carmin: Sorry Nash.

Robot: I suggest you go to either the Shalour Gym or the Lumiose Gym.

Nash: But the Lumiose Gym is still closed.

Robot: Shalour Gym would be in your best interest to visit. Good day.

The Robot goes up the vine that spins around the tree to reach the battlefield

Nash: I think my Dad told me something about Shalour City. But I can't remember.

Buck: Seriously?

Carmin: I would think you would remember anything related to battling.

Nash: Oh well. It'll come to me eventually. Let's head to our room back at the Pokémon Center to get our stuff.

Carmin: All right.

Nash checks his backpack in the lobby with Buck

Nash: Where'd Carmin go?

Buck: She said she was using that free food for two years prize to get road snacks and other stuff. Hopefully spaghetti like you've mentioned.

Nash: Oh right! I can't wait to eat it. Hopefully it'll taste the same as moms spaghetti.
