This is part 2 of "A Tale Of What The Future Holds"
I don't own any of the art used, gifs, or Pokémon.
The story just follows Nash Winters from the last chapter of the previous book.
Nash and Carmin make their way to the Gym with their Pokémon by their sides, Beedrill flying above Nash
Carmin: Is it really a good idea for you to reveal your Pokémon like this?
Nash: What's the big deal? I'm gonna win anyway.
Carmin: All you know is that it is a Bug Type Gym. Nothing else to go on after that.
Nash: Sure there. When my Dad battles he thinks of a strategy to use mid battle every battle. So I'll do the same.
Carmin: If you say so.
They enter the gym and see trees and other plants surround the battlefield
Carmin: It's like a forest in here.
Nash: Yeah.
Many small Bug Types hang on branches with string, Carmin screams
Nash: Okay you seriously have to get over this fear of yours.
Carmin: Now it really is a forest in here.
???: Well Bug Types live in forests.
A girl walks through a door on the other side

Nash: Are you the Gym Leader?
Girl: Yeah. I'm Sabina, and I'm the Santalune City Gym Leader.
Nash: My name is Nash, and I'd like a Gym Battle.
Sabina: I accept your challenge.
Sabina sees Beedrill and smiles
Sabina: A Beedrill!
Beedrill flies around
Nash: That's right. These are the Pokémon I'm going to use for the battle.
Sabina: It's a good thing you have two. That's the amount of Pokémon we're both allowed to use.
Sabina takes out her phone and presses a button on the screen. A green Rotom Drone flies out from where Sabina came from and hovers over the battlefield
Nash: Cool a Rotom Drone!
Nash and his Pokémon stand on the square opposite of Sabina
Rotom Drone: The Santalune City Gym battle is about to begin. Each side is allowed the use of two Pokémon, and only the challenger may make substitutions. The Gym Leader will show their Pokémon first before the challenger does.
Sabina: Which I'm perfectly fine with. Lets go, Scyther!
