*At the Coumarine City Arena, picking up from last chapter*
Asuka and Marie take their places and smirk at one another
Announcer: It's time for our last quarter final match up! In the left corner it's Asuka!
The crowd cheers at Asuka she waves at the crowd
Announcer: And in the right corner we have Marie!
The crowd cheers louder for Marie then Asuka
Marie: Aw would you look at that. I'm already outshining you.
Asuka: We'll about that.
Their faces appear on the large screen with two Pokéballs underneath them
Rotom Drone: Each trainer will use two Pokémon. When both on either side is unable to continue the battle will be over. Please bring out your Pokémon!
Asuka and Marie each hold a Pokéball
Rotom Drone: Three! Two! One! Go!
Asuka and Marie: Let's go!
They throw the Pokéballs and they open. Heliolisk comes out of Asuka's ball and a Toxicroak comes out of Marie's Pokéball
Heliolisk: Heli!
Toxicroak: Toxi!
Announcer: Asuka has chosen Heliolisk and Marie has chosen Toxicroak!
Rotom Drone: Battle start!
Asuka: Go!
Heliolisk runs in a circle around Toxicroak at a blinding speed, appearing in and out
Marie: Oh my, how unflashy.
Asuka: Dragon Tail!
Heliolisks tail glow green and it jumps, spinning down to Toxicroak
Marie: Counter!
Toxicroak quickly turns to Heliolisk and punches its tail. Toxicroak gets sent back to its Pokéball and an Emboar comes out from a flash light in Maries pocket
Emboar: Boar!
Announcer: Dragon Tail sends Toxicroak back to its Pokéball and drags Emboar out!
Marie: Use Flamethrower!
Asuka: Dodge it!
Emboar uses Flamethrower and Heliolisk dodges it
Asuka: Now Volt Switch!
Heliolisk uses Volt Switch and hits Emboar, then returning to its ball in Asuka's pocket, and Clawitzer coming out in its place
Clawitzer: Claw!
Announcer: And Asuka's second Pokémon is Clawitzer!
The crowd cheers for Clawitzer
Asuka: Use Flip Turn!
Clawitzer shoots water out from the back of its big arm and heads for Emboar
Marie: Now return!
Emboar gets brought back into its Pokéball and Marie lets Toxicroak out again. Clawitzer crashed into Toxicroak and the water from its attack gets absorbed by Toxicroak
Asuka: What?!
Marie: Toxicroak's ability is Dry Skin. So Water Type moves will heal it instead of hurting it. Use Revenge!
Toxicroak's fist glows orange and punches Clawitzer into the ocean
Asuka: Clawitzer! Jump out of the water!
