Chapter 54: Alice Winters Goodbye, Her Long Journey Ends

*In Vaniville Town, at Sora and Alice's house*

Nate, Gwen, Natsu, Alex, Luka, Grace and Nash enter Alice's bedroom. They see her in a hospital bed, an oxygen tank connected to a nasal cannula going into her nose. Alice's hair very short and white. Alice looks to her family and smiles

Alice: Hi everyone. How have you all been?

Nate: Hey, mom. We're doing good.

Gwen: You look well.

Natsu: Hey grandma.

Alex: You look great.

Luka, Grace, Nash: Hi, Great Grandma.

They each pull a chair up to her bed and smile at her

Alice: Thank you all for coming.

Nate: It's no problem. Anything for you.

Gwen: We were happy when you wanted to see us.

Natsu: So we came right over.

Alex: How have you been?

Alice: How do you think, Alex? I'm enjoying the time I have left. I just wanted to see you all one last time.

Luka: You still have plenty of fight left in you.

Grace: Yeah, you've always told us you'll go when you want.

Nash: And you said there was so much about Great Grandpa you wanted to tell us.

Alice smiles at her great grandchildren and presses a button to make the bed sit her up, reaching a hand out to pat each of them on the head

Alice: Luka, Grace. Your names are perfect for each other. When Natsu told me and Sora you two were on the way, and the names he picked out, Sora looked so happy that his parents names would live on.

Luka: Thanks, Great Grandma. I'm going to stand at the top like he did.

Grace: We're always doing our best. I'll be the next Kiloude City Gym Leader.

Nash: I'll be a Legendary Trainer just like Great Grandpa.

Alice: Luka, Nash. You two look just like him.

Luka and Nash: Huh?

Alice: Every time I saw you two it always made me smile. It felt like Sora was running towards me.

Grace: Was he loud and obnoxious like these too?

Luka and Nash chuckle

Alice: Sora wasn't really all that loud. He was more serious when me and our friend Tom first met him. But he changed after we all met. Traveled to Kanto, made more friends. Became World Champions in the team battles. Traveled all over, seeing all of types of places.

Nash: I would've loved to battle Great Grandpa.

Luka: Same here, and I'd have definitely won.

Nate: You wouldn't have won.

Natsu: Yeah, he'd have mopped the floor with you guys.

Alice: Now I have gifts for my Great Grandchildren. I've been meaning to give these to you for awhile now but haven't had time.

Grace: You don't have to give us anything.

Alice: Grace, I want to. For Luka, Natsu told me how your Keystone broke in the Kalos Leauge four years ago. So this is yours.

Alice hands Luka a box and he slowly opens it, taking out a bracelet with a Keystone that he puts on his left wrist

Luka: Where did you get this?
