Chapter 38: Charcadet Outbreak! Rampaging Garchomp!

*In a dorm room, one day after last chapter*

Nash and Shun snore loudly in their begs, Lucario and Chesnaught snoring loudly as well. After a moment both their phones start blaring loud music, they all wake up and groan

Shun: Dang it I wanted to sleep more.

Nash: So sleep.

Shun: No, I'm good. I wanna do another job anyway.

Shun slowly gets out of bed and heads to the bathroom. Nash also get out of bed and puts his jacket on

Nash: Can we at least grab breakfast first?

Shun gets out of the bathroom wearing his usual outfit and stretches

Shun: Yes. Who says no to breakfast?

*At the cafeteria*

Shun, Nash, Lucario, and Chesnaughts jaw hang open as they see the very long line to get food

Nash: I thought it'd be a buffet.

Shun: Well usually we get breakfast later but the one time we wake up early. Aw man.

Lucario and Chesnaught grabs two bowls and head to where all the Pokémon are in the room to get their own food

Nash: They get special treatment huh?

Shun: It would seem so.

They both sigh, and minutes later they grab their food and sit at a table across from each other

Shun: So how was Area Zero?

Nash: Oh it was awesome! There are so many strong Pokémon and a lot of different people go there.

Shun: Wait really?

Nash: Yeah dude I made a lot just from teaming up with people. Soon we'll be able to get our own base.

Shun: I better start pulling my weight then.

Nash: How was birthday cake yesterday?

Shun: My grandpa hates cake. He wanted to train instead.

Nash: Wait so he wanted to do birthday training instead?

Shun: Yes. He took me to swing on vines and climb rock walls. Not a fun birthday.

Nash: Did your mom and grandma join in?

Shun: No but my dad did.

Nash: Did your uncle show up for it?

Shun: Nope. He couldn't get a flight here.

Nash: Wait I could've flown here instead of taking a boat?!

Everyone in the cafeteria looks at them and Shun puts his hands together, lowering his head

Shun: Sorry for the disturbance.

Everyone goes back to eating and talk amongst themselves

Shun: Yeah you didn't know?

Nash: No.

Shun: Hahaha! Oh man that's a hoot.

Nash: Didn't you sail here to?

Shun: No.

Nash: Dang it I could've been here so much sooner.

Shun: Now about what job we should do today.

Nash: Right. We can't exactly take another three star one or Clavell will get mad at us again.

Shun: So definitely one star.

Nash: Maybe we can get one that involes catching Pokémon, I wanna get at least a few Paldean Pokémon.
