*On a train heading to Kiloude City*

Nash, Lucario, Buck, and Carmin look out the window and see large fields of grass filled with Pokémon

Carmin: Look at all the Miltank! So cute!

Nash: We're getting close! Yes!

Buck: How can you tell we're close?

Nash: Because just outside of Kiloude City are a bunch of farms.

Buck: I see.

Carmin: So just how much further are we from Kiloude?

Nash: I'd say we're about ten minutes away. Can't wait to see everyone again. More importantly my moms cooking.

Buck: Before battling comes to your head it'll always be food won't it?

Nash: Probably.

The train comes to a stop and they all get off the cart

Nash: Hello home! Haha!

Carmin: Before food comes to his mind it'll always be yelling.

Nash: C'mon guys let's go!

Lucario: Io!

Nash and Lucario start running out of the train station

Buck: Every time we get somewhere he immediately starts running.

Carmin starts running as well

Buck: Are you serious?!

Carmin: C'mon Slowpoke!

Buck: What did you just call me?!

Buck chases after them and they soon all up outside Kiloude City Gym

Nash: Finally home.

Carmin: Wait you live inside the Gym?

Nash: Yeah. There's an upstairs where the living room is, along with everyone's bedrooms.

An explosion is heard from inside causing the doors to go flying off the hinges. Nash quickly grabs the backs of Bucks and Carmins shirts and makes them duck down as the doors fly over their heads

Carmin: What was that?!

Nash: Probably my mom with a challenger.

Buck: Is it always this loud? Or destructive?

Nash: Destructive is when we have holes in the wall or ceiling. Or floors.

Carmin: Now I'm a little nervous about meeting your mother.

Buck: Yeah me too.

Nash: Oh chin up. Let's go!

Nash and Lucario run inside the gym and see Alex battling a girl with a ponytail. Alex using a Salamence, and the girl using a Garchomp

Garchomp: Gar!

Salamence: Salam!

Salamence: Salam!
