56- The one where I tell Luke everything

I smile up at the dark-haired boy sat next to me before I rest my head on his shoulder. I shakily grab his hand and intwine it with me.

'Love?'

'Hmm.'

'I just don't get it, why are both these brothers obsessed with her? Don't get me wrong, she's pretty hot. But I feel like if someone fucked my brother, I wouldn't spend all my time chasing them.'

I snort loudly, 'It's literally a tv show about vampires but the love triangle with the brothers, is the bit that you don't believe?'

'Exactly.'

'Did you know that in the books Damon actually ends up with Bonnie?'

Lucas' eyes widen dramatically before he lets out a gasp, 'Shut the fuck up!'

I nod frantically as I shovel popcorn into my mouth, 'I know, it shocked me too.'

'You know what, the more that I think about it. I kind of dig them two together.'

I laugh lightly, 'I can't believe I actually got you to watch Vampire Diaries with me.'

He shrugs, 'You like it, so why wouldn't I watch it?'

'I really don't want to admit this but you're pretty great.'

He gives me a boyish grin that makes my heart combust, 'I am, aren't I?'

'B-By the way, is this like a second date or?'

'Do you want it to be?'

I let out a shaky breath, 'H-Honestly, I kind of just want to do this all the time with you. And it's really fucking scaring me that I can actually admit this out-loud. But fuck, Luke you just make everything seem so easy. A-And I feel as if all of this is so unfair on you!'

He frowns as he hesitantly places a finger on my chin, so I would face him properly. My breath hitches as his eyes bore into mine. I don't think I'll ever fully get used to the way the captivate me.

'W-What's unfair on me?'

Frustrated tears burn the corner of my eyes, 'I-I want to be the girlfriend that you deserve a-and I don't know if I will ever be that.'

'What the fuck are you talking about? Love, you are more than what I deserve.'

A strangled sob escapes my lips, 'N-No, no I'm not. I'm not an idiot, you're a pretty physical guy and I-I can't handle that.'

'I told you; I don't mind waiting.'

'B-But it isn't fair on you to have to wait.'

'Of course, it's fair, you can't help how you feel!'

Nausea washes over me, 'I-I think I need to tell you what happened.'

His face pales considerably, 'O-Only if you are ready and you want too.'

'I-I have too. I can't let this progress any further without you knowing everything.'

Lucas grabs my hand and presses a kiss against my knuckles, 'You don't have to do anything.'

'I-I do. I-It was a college party, I-I didn't really know anyone there. Only Kyle, b-but he was my boyfriend so I thought I would be safe.' 

'Of course, you did.'

A harsh sob leaves my mouth, 'H-His friend, t-the guy that we saw on Christmas Eve...h-he gave me a drink and I-I just took it...Like a fucking idiot. A-After that everything kind of gets blurry, Kyle brought me into a room. I-I thought that he was going to look after me.'
