My hand clutches onto Scarlett's as we watch the final round of Luke's match, my brain was scrambled, I was filled with an overbearing worry for the girl stood next to me and the boy I was watching in the ring.
I just needed them both to be okay.
Sammy rushes over to us with a flustered expression, 'H-Have I missed it?'
I shake my head, 'N-No we're in the final round now.'
Sammy left us to go and follow an extremely pissed off Toby who stormed out of the venue after Scarlett's confession. I couldn't figure out why he was so angry, he had a girlfriend now, whoever Scarlett wanted to sleep with, that's her business. It had nothing to do with him, it never has.
My eyes widen as I watch Luke's fist uppercut the jaw of the guy he was fighting, he goes down with a thud and stays down. Nerves bundle in my stomach as the referee begins counting before Luke's arm is thrown in the air.
Tears pool in my eyes as the venue begins to cheer, I clap loudly as I scream to my heart's content, an overwhelming feeling of pride washing over me.
He did it.
And I couldn't describe how proud I was of him.
I look over at Sammy who lets out a small sniffle, his grin was that wide it took over his entire face. Scarlett outs out a small sob next to me as she smiles brightly but the smile doesn't quite reach her eyes.
We move through the crowd, so that we can wait impatiently outside of the door which Nate was previously guarding.
'Can we not just go inside?'
The pink-haired girl shakes her head, 'Trust me, he'll come out when he's ready. He struggles to communicate straight after a match, he's always been like that I'm not sure why.'
Sammy looks at her with a soft expression, 'Scar, I know we didn't really get chance to talk about it before, but you know I support you whatever choice you make.'
'I-I know, I'm really sorry I didn't tell either of you. There's just been so much going on and I only found out last night, I-I promise I was going to talk about it after the match.'
I shake my head, 'You don't need to apologise to us, you've got a lot to wrap your head around.'
'I-I'm just so scared.' She murmurs weakly, 'I-I didn't even know if I'd ever see Rocky again, and now he knows.'
Sammy shrugs, 'He doesn't seem that bad of a guy.'
She narrows his eyes, 'You caught him on a good day, he's insufferable!'
The door swings open, I can't contain my excitement any-longer, I fling my arms around the dark-haired boy the second our eyes meet. Mine widen slightly when I feel my body being lifted in the air before he twirls me around. I can't help but laugh out of giddiness.
'I'm so fucking proud of you!' I cry out as he sets me down, my arms still linked around his neck.
He looks down at me with an expression I've never seen before, 'Now, you know how I feel about you, everyday.'
I hesitantly reach up and kiss his cheek, he turns to me with a heart-stopping smile, I've never seen him express this amount of happiness on his face before.
His smile drops when he notices Scarlett's fidgeting figure, 'Scar, what's wrong?'
'I-I feel like I-I need to tell you something before you find out from something else.'
He steps towards her, 'What's wrong? Has someone fucking hurt you?'
She shakes her head, 'N-No, nothing like that.'
