"What are you doing?" A nervous chuckle escaped your throat when his chest pressed against yours. Either the distance was uncomfortable or shocking, it sparked a new feeling in your chest. "What, do you want a kiss or something?" You joked, freezing when he looked at you.
"Well, I've never kissed anyone before," he mumbles, leaning closer to you, his lips just barely grazing against yours.
Lifting your head just the slightest, they press together softly. His head spins when your hand slides behind his neck, cold fingers leaving goosebumps with every drag and scrape you give.
His hands are firm on your waist, he's lost in the kiss he doesn't realize he's walking backwards until his back hits the jagged concrete wall of the school.
You press yourself closer when he starts smiling into it, hands moving to hold his face. "Langa," you murmur against his lips, chuckling quietly when he chases your lips. "Was that okay? I'm sorry I didn't really ask."
"The only thing you have to be sorry for is not doing it sooner." He replies, leaning forward to kiss you.
There's a moment of realization when he looks at you straight in the eye when he places his lips against yours. You're kissing your best friend.
And he's kissing back.
