okay this is technically a langa x reader but reki and miya are there too since it was a group costume.... and yes, this was rushed as hell and I'm still re-learning how to write :D thank u for being patient

-i feel like he hadn't celebrated halloween much as a kid, at least not after his father passed.
-he never really had extravagant costumes, mainly just anything he could make with things at home.
-he'd even worn his snowboarding gear a few years in a row, he just didn't feel connected to it as much as before.
-now being 18, he'd had an excuse to not go trick or treating but of course, having friends like you and reki, he was bound to get roped back into the tradition.
"come on langa, this is singlehandedly the best group costume ever!" reki exclaimed, fixing the skirt on his hips. "now i'm not a fan of skirts but, i think i make this work."
"im surprised you even wore the crop top, you too langa." you said, fixing said shirt.
"i didn't want to disappoint," he muttered, "it's my first halloween here and i didn't want to be a downer."
you smiled, offering your hand to hold, squeezing his when he interlocked his fingers with yours. "well then, let's make this halloween one to remember!" you cheered, pushing reki forward.
"don't forget about me!" miya yelled, "i'm a key part of this costume hello?" he huffed, "who would team rocket be without their iconic meowth?"
"Wobbuffet." you said, laughing when he glared at you. "Trust me it was a compliment."
Reki pulled Miya along, shouting for you guys to hurry up before all the good candy gets taken. You smiled again, turning to Langa. "You ready to make the best halloween memories ever?"
Smiling back, he nodded and pulled you forward laughing when both of you nearly tripped. "I think I already have."
