Takes place in episode 46.

"Wow... This meadow is so beautiful!" Misty stretched, as the four entered a nice lovely yet very spacious meadow.

Psyduck is seen with Gold, as Gold looks at the very odd Psyduck in a curious manner.

"Hey, isn't this the Pokemon that was spotted here?" Ash shows Brock a nice picture of none other than a Farfetch'd.

"Farfetch'd. A Wild Duck Pokemon. It has a talent for cooking especially when including a leek. Due to this, they're nearly extinct." The Pokedex says, as everyone gasps, before looking at a very... Neutral Aoi.

"Hehe... It's fine." Aoi says, as Misty comments,

"Still missing your Scyther?" She wondered as Aoi smirks,

"Well... Yeah. I do... But hey, at least there was a climb in the Scyther population I heard. The Laramie Clan released a few dozen Scythers last week!" Aoi comments, as he looked at Gold, who is a bit saddened too, but nods in respect.

"Me and Ash are going to get some water, are you going to come, Aoi?" Brock wondered as Aoi shakes his head,

"No thank you. Me and Gold are going to see if we can catch ourselves a Farfetch'd! If we can, it'll be in the protective care of Professor Oak!" Aoi says as Misty gives the two her bottle, and they were off.

"Welp..." Aoi jumps to his feet,

"We're going off to find ourselves a Farfetch'd! Do you want to come along?" Aoi asked Misty, but she declines,

"No... We've been walking all day... My legs hurt..." She cries a little, so Aoi says,

"Well... I'll be right back then. You coming, Gold?" Aoi wondered, but the words of a special Wild Duck Pokemon are heard...

It repeats...

And it repeats...

That's when instead of them finding it, a Farfetch'd find them.

It didn't take long until Misty ran along, with Aoi looking around,

"MISTY!" Aoi was packing his things to run after her, but she was long gone.

"Seems we lost her, Gold," Aoi says, as Gold shrugs its wing joints, not complaining after having to babysit the Psyduck.

"Hey guys, we're back!" Soon, Ash's voice is heard, and Aoi says,

"You guys! You should've seen it, we saw a Farfetch'd and it twirled its leek like a baton! I wanted to catch it... But it got away..." Aoi says as Brock and Ash said,

"Capture it you say?" Brock says,

"What? You think you're the only one who can catch the very rare Pokemon!?!" Ash comments,

"Of course not! They're going extinct!" Aoi says, before sighing,

It also didn't take long for Misty to come back, saying she too lost sight of the Farfetch'd. But what horrified everyone is that Misty's bag filled with her Pokeballs and her potions and medicine were long gone. Explaining she encountered a boy in the forest, they assumed that he and the Farfetch'd were working together since it would've been too sheepish to go out to humans if it didn't have an owner itself.

...

...

...

"Everyone, a track that boy and his Farfetch'd down!" Aoi commands his many Pokemon, as Gold, Eeveon, Dugtrio, and Poliwrath are now on the hunt for this Pokemon Theif.

"..." Aoi growls, angered that a boy could just use that Farfetch'd like that. Stealing people's Pokemon like they don't have an emotional attachment to them. It sickened him.

"..." Aoi remembers back on his encounter with Scyther. She was strong in her own right but the last female in this region.

"..." He continues to think, as Ash sends out his Pidgeot to find the thief.

"What will happen when we catch the kid?" Misty asked Officer Jenny, as she says,

"She will be arrested for Grand Theft of Pokemon. It sickens me that this kid thinks stealing Pokemon is alright." Jenny shares the same mindset as Aoi, and Brock agreed,

"Stealing other people's Pokemon is wrong. Everything about it isn't right." Brock agreed as it didn't take long for the two differently colored Pidgeot's to come around with the others.

"Did you both find them?" Aoi wondered as Gold nodded,

"Great! Let's find them then!" Ash comments, as Jenny talks on a walkie-talkie,

"I request backup. It seems we got our eyes set on the thief." Jenny says, and the group soon finds the boy with his Farfetch'd, who looked horrified to see them,

"THERE HE IS! That's the Pokemon Theif!" Misty says, visibly angered,

"W-Wait... How did you find me!?!" The boy demanded to know, as Gold and Ash's Pidgeot lands next to their respective trainer, and the other three Pokemon sent also comes along, angered beyond the extent.

"W-Wait! I didn't mean to steal them, I swear! I just needed something for me and my Farfetch'd to survive on!" The boy tries to make an excuse, as Jenny pulls up with the other officers,

"Kid, you got a lot of explaining to do. Arrest them, boys!" Jenny commanded as the two are thrown into a van before Misty commented,

"Oh, Staryu! Starmie! Horsea! It's so great to have you back!" Misty comments, as Aoi glares at the boy as he stares outside the van,

"... Stealing Pokemon is a bad career path, kid. Learn that while you're behind bars." Aoi comments, as Jenny says,

"Great job, young trainers! Thanks to you, we got the thief right where we want them. Best of all, the other Pokemon have been returned to their rightful trainers." Jenny comments, as Brock nods,

"That's a relief." He says as this was the end of this short chapter and filler episode!

End of Chapter 44.
