54- Missing You

We were now leaving the small office, big idiot smiles plastered on our faces. We would both be joining a new roster called ECW, but it's still being made, and they think we need a bit more training, so we're good for 6 months in FCW, and then here we go. I hugged Scott as soon as we were a bit away. I honestly felt like crying, it seemed way to good to be true.

" There's a lot of stuff to take care of in a small amount of time right now." He chuckled. "But together it'll be alright ?"

I nodded rapidly, my joy overtaking my whole body.

"Hey, hum, Phil is here right now, do you mind if the 3 of us go for a coffee ?" He scratched the back of his neck.

" No of course not! " I smiled. "I'll be happy to see him !"

" Wanna call Colby to see if he's around ?" He winked "And tell him the great news ?"

" Yeah, I'll do that, well if you don't mind ?"

He shook his head no and I got my phone out, calling Colby. He picked up almost instantly.

" Hello love, how are you doing ?" I did not tell him about my appointment, to make the surprise.

" I'm great babe." I tried hiding my joy a little. "What are you up to right now ?"

" I'm at some arena in Florida, for the show this week." He explained. "I just finished training for today, and I have a match tonight, but why would you ask that ?"

" Well, see the coffee in front of the arena ?" He was about to interfere but I continued talking. "How about you meet us there in, let's say, 20 minutes, so you have time to shower."

I hung up before he could add something, and motioned to Scott that he would be joining us later on. We sat inside the coffee shop, and waited for Phil to arrive. And there he came, as beautiful as ever, a stunning red-haired girl on his arm. Yeah, I should have seen that coming, he's been here for almost a year. He greeted Scott, and then froze when he turned to me. He finally smiled at me and hugged me, which startled me, even if it wasn't for long.

" How have you been guys ?" He asked as he sat down. "It's been so long ! Oh and forgive my rudeness, I didn't introduce you to Maria, my girlfriend of 6 months now."

She smiled at us, and honestly, she looked like a really decent person, unlike Mickie. Maybe I wasn't also as jealous as I used to be. Phil's still really beautiful, but I don't feel nearly as attracted to him as I was before. Suddenly, I heard someone storm in the cafe and saw a familiar half bleached head.

" Roxanne ?!" He asked unbelieving. "Why are you here ?"

" Come on and sit down, we'll explain." I smiled at him.

He sat next to me, and immediately put his hand on my thigh, running little circles over it. For one moment I could have sworn I felt Phil's glance piercing through us.

" Well remember how long ago I said Scott and I would try to apply to WWE ?" He nodded. "We got our trial today."

" Really ?" He asked eyes wide open. "Why didn't you tell me ?"

" Are you mad that I surprised you ?" I questioned.

" No, not at all!" He hugged me quickly.

" And what did the direction say ?" Phil asked.

" Training center for 6 months, and then to ECW." Scott explained.

" Hey, that's cool, we're going to be a part of ECW too." Maria added. "In one month, when the shows finally fully done."

We talked like that for almost an hour, before Colby asked if he could kidnap me for a moment. He didn't even wait for my answer and kissed me as soon as we had left the cafe.

" You don't even know how much I missed you, and how happy it makes me that you're here." He hugged me as tight as ever, and I placed my hand on his back.

" I was so afraid that you wouldn't be here to be honest." I giggled. "I missed you too Colby, just another 7 months and we'll be able to see each other way more often."

" I can't wait baby."

He kissed me again, and we stayed together for 20 minutes, until the cold was becoming too much for my Australian blood, and we had to go back inside. The three of them were laughing and chatting, and we had no problem joining the conversation. I informed them that we were staying for the show tonight, and catching a night plane back to Maryland.

The show was awesome to say the least. Even if it was 'just' NXT, I had stars in my eyes for the whole time. And when Seth Rollins came into action, I was experiencing a weird mix of excitation, fear, and pride. He caught a few glances at me during his match, but always staying focused. He had worked on a lot of new impressive moves, and I felt a wave of pride flow through me. I only had 10 minutes after the show to say goodbye to him, before we had to go back home.

Leaving this town wouldn't be easy, but we will be pursuing our dream, so it's definitely worth it. Paperwork wasn't the worse. The worst was to go and say to ROH that we wouldn't be re-signing.

" I understand guys." The CEO said. "Talented wrestlers like you rarely stay in the indie scene. I wish you the best, and if one day you want to go back to the sources, you're always more than welcome. I look forward to see you on TV." I almost teared up at that. "Do you want to appear in the show in Maryland next week ? You could have a match, and then announce your departure. Rumors have already leaked about that, but oh well, the fans would love that."

We of course agreed, but continued training there until our last match. We also had to find an apartment in Florida, for the upcoming 6 months. Surprisingly, it wasn't the hardest part of our moving. We had found a flat barely a kilometer away from the training center, and which wasn't too expensive. We decided to continue living together, since we both were used to each other's presence. Scott's girlfriend would be living with us part time as well, since her job needed her to travel a lot. The other great news is that the guys will be here for Scott's and I last show, and staying for 2 weeks. It had been decided quickly, as soon as Scott said that after the show, he'll be at his girlfriend's place for a week and a half. I couldn't wait to see them again, since I don't know how will be the next time I get to really hang out with them. Well, for the next 6 months, I'll be staying in Florida, but after that ? Nobody knows how things will go, and it's as thrilling as it is terrifying for me.
