"I'm a person just like you, but I've got better things to do than sit around and fuck my dead,

hang out with the living dead."

Minor Threat

Monday is off day for everyone, since we travel on the week ends to give shows. But on Mondays, I decided to start running, to get a better stamina. Mine is already good, but it can be better, especially since I saw how hard matches looked like. I've had meetings with the direction teams to get kind of a gimmick. They decided to introduce me as a face. I'll kind of be the opposite of Punk, being straight edge and all, but not promoting it like he does, and showing the other side of the SxE movement. They said they were not sure about how that would work, but they wanted to make Punk even badder than now. I'm really cool with that, CM Punk is a great heel, and that will let me time to get used to pro-wrestling. I got up and got dressed to go running. I took an Apple in the basket, and at that moment Phil cam into the kitchen.

"Well hello there." He said, surprised. "What are you doing this early ?"

"Since I start real matches next months, I figured out I had to better my stamina."

" Oh alright." He just shrugged. "So you're going running I guess ?"

" Yeah?"

" Do you want me to come with you ?" He suggested. "So that you don't get lost. If you don't want to that's okay."

" Well, it's not that I don't want, but you're probably a lot better than me, and I don't want to slow you down." I said embarrassed. "I have not ran since like the beginning of the year."

" That's okay, I'll go easy on you." He winked.

I finally accepted and he went to get changed. He came back in baseball shorts and a hoodie.

" Aren't you going to get cold ?" I asked.

" You know, it's still 10 degrees outside, it's not that cold !" He laughed. "But I guess in Australia you never went under 15 right ?"

" Yeah !" I exclaimed.

" Well if I can advise you." He started. "Take that beanie off, to start with. And how much do you wanna run ?"

" I actually wanted to test myself." I explained. " So I can see how to start training."

" Sounds good."

We left the apartment, and stretched as we were going downstairs. He let me start first so he can adjust to my speed. We ran for a long time, and I have wanted to give up more than once, but I'm continuing because I don't want to disappoint Phil or anything. I continued running even though I was getting exhausted really fast by now, I was only pushing my limits more and more. I looked over my shoulder and Phil was slowing down, then stopping, so I did the same. Thank God, I couldn't go further.

" Let's just walk a little alright ?" He suggested. "I know you're pushing too hard on yourself Roxanne, I know you."

" I, no, I was..." He looked at me with his piercing eyes. "Okay I was pushing myself so you wouldn't be ashamed of me !"

" Ashamed?" He repeated. "Why would I be ! "He looked at his phone. "We ran almost 5km ! For someone who hasn't run in almost a year, that's great."

" Really?"

" Of course !" He exclaimed. "Now how about we go home ? It's like 5 minutes away from here, so we can walk and stretch alright ?"
