Road to Lungmen

Ch'en slowly roused from her sleep. The biting and dizzying effects of a hangover making it a pain to get up. God... why did I drink so much... All she can vaguely remember was blacking out and Hoshiguma's voice cheering about 'Victory'.

It may as well have been a big regret, the biggest one she could have at that point. Taking Swire and Hoshiguma's challenge to a drinking contest. So many bottles, so many glasses. She hiccuped, which sent her sitting straight up. Straight as an arrow. A thousand yard, morning-induced stare made her bore into the wall in front of her. If it were a person, that person would be praying that somebody killed them.

She looked over in frustration at her clock. It just now began to beep, and its noise was dreadfully unpleasant, especially to a hungover person. Grabbing it, she unplugs it, violently, and tosses the clock against the wall, the thing only slightly cracking at the impact.

The morning beam just barely peaking through the windows from behind the massive skyscrapers of Lungmen. She does her best to rub the grogginess out of her eyes, without irritating her head too much. Not exactly helped when the big bastard in the sky was now beaming its annoyance into her eyes. Softly, she began to slow get out of the bed and up on her feet. Establishing that she is still mentally coherent, she went up to her door, and shoved it open.

Hoshiguma and Swire was asleep on her couch, both of them keeping a healthy distance from each other to prevent any strange scenarios from occurring. The Oni woman looked in the best shape compared to the 3 present, looking like she was in the least amount of pain. She really needs to teach me how she got so good at that, she of course, was referring to Hoshiguma's alcoholic tolerance. Ch'en did have some comfort, in that Swire looked like she wanted to die in her sleep.

Going over to the kitchen, she observed the normalcy of her little home. Opening a cabinet, she grabbed a bag, and moved to open another cabinet. Producing a coffee machine, Ch'en plugged it in and began to produce herself a nice cup, hopefully getting the terrible feeling of a headache and tiredness out of her.

As she smelled the brew getting close to completion, she turns over to the front of the house, her gaze stopping on the three new objects that she was given. The Briefcase, the Coat, and the Cap. She almost blankly regarded them, getting her coffee and slowly sipped on it.

Until she felt an immediate sobering feeling override her hangover.

Oh NO! She goes to quickly gulp down her coffee, tossing the mug against the wall. Ch'en began to rush over to the 2 sleeping agents and began to tap and shake them awake, "Hey! Hey! GET UP!" She yelled into Swire's ear, causing the vi- ahem - Tigress to jump and groan in pain. Ch'en went over to Hoshiguma, Swire's Lungmen-Originating profanities being let loose in such an amount that she honestly thought that the UN would be impressed.

"Hey, Hoshiguma, get up, we need to get to the Southwest checkpoint," Swire got a little angry and goes to pull on Ch'en's ear, "Hey! How come she gets a more peaceful wake up?!" Hoshiguma yawned and began to get up, looking at the two. She sighed, exhausted and in the need of getting sober.

Ch'en smacked her hand away and growled, "Don't ask, Now let's go!" She began to run off back to her bedroom, quickly doing her morning routine with just enough time for the others to get sobered and freshened up. She grabbed her M4 and the magazines she still had, and began to get out as quick as she can.

By the time 6:45 began to roll around, the 3 rushed out of Ch'en's dwellings, and into her Vehicle. The host having the cap and coat on, alongside her standard and normal uniform that she always wore during every mission. Swire was still somewhat recovering. Hoshiguma was giving her water and some snacks, to 'try and keep the effects down'.
