I wish I knew you

I wish you knew me

I wish I was with you

I wish you were with me

The frail words are all we have

To share, keyboards and screens

Are what keep us connected

Only through webcams we have seen

Eachother, the faces that

Were destined to never meet

But somehow without you I'm empty

Without you I'm incomplete

You know I dream of the day

That we can love for real

But until that day comes

We must face this internet ordeal

Typing and sending, forever

Never stopping, don't leave my side

I know that when you're here

I'd never consider suicide

But for now, it must stay this way

Writing messages simply to send

A forbidden relationship across the world

But I know I never want it to end.
