"If we go down, then we go down together
We'll get away with everything
Let's show them we are better"

As I awakened, the first thing I felt was a pounding headache, which was obviously the result of last night's events. I squinted my eyes shut, annoyed at how bright the sun is beaming in my face. I felt extremely dizzy, almost as if I'd been spinning in a circle for a long period of time.

I situated myself in a seated position, bringing my hands up to my forehead. My eyes quickly searched the room for my Liz, but she was nowhere to be found. I groaned, knowing this headache was going to last for the rest of the morning. My eyes shot straight up when I heard the door open, a smile appearing on my face almost immediately.

"Hi, beautiful." Liz takes a seat on the edge of the bed, "How do you feel?"

I chuckled,"Fucking terrible."

"Here you go, baby." She hands me an advil, along with a cup of water. "I also ordered some french toast, just how you like it."

I quickly take the medicine, an even bigger smile forming on my face as I see the chocolate french toast with fruit. "Thank you so much, I appreciate it."

I wasted no time to pick up a fork and knife, taking a big bite of my breakfast. Despite my pounding headache, her presence alone was enough to make me forget about it all. In the midst of me eating, I noticed her laugh to herself, confusing me.

I tilted my head in confusion, "Why are you laughing?

"I remembered something from the night we met." I furrowed my eyebrows, still not following. "Right after we exchanged numbers, you passed out in front of me."

I couldn't help but laugh, thinking about that night. "That seems like forever ago."

It's crazy to think about how far we've come since then. Regardless of all the pain and heartbreak, we crossed paths again, and found our ways back to each other. She is my today, my tomorrow, my everyday. And whatever souls are made of, hers and mine are the same.

She flashes me a smile, her nose scrunching in the process. "It does, doesn't it?"

We both kept our gaze on one another with the biggest grins ever, the world slowly fading out. This was a feeling only she could make me feel. And after a while, I happily patted the spot beside me, gesturing for her to sit.

"Criminal minds?" I excitedly ask, and she instantly nodded.

For the next few hours, we both binged multiple episodes of our favorite show. We've rewatched it numerous times, but it never fails to entertain us. Moments like this were simple, but enough to make my heart flutter. Sometimes, I think about how lucky I am to be loved by her, because I couldn't imagine being happy with anyone else.

Liz caressed my face gently, "How are you feeling now, darling?"

I sigh, getting lost in the comfort. "Much better now."

"That's good, do you think you could get ready in ten minutes?"

I hummed, "Yeah, why?"

A bright smile appears on her face at my response, resulting in me giving her the same one. I swear, her smile is contagious.

"I've planned things for us to do today, so you need to hurry and get ready for our busy day."

I chuckled, "Okay, no need to be bossy, Olsen."

It took a bit of overthinking, but I finally decided on the right outfit. Liz said not too fancy or casual, whatever that meant. So, I went with a light blue button up top, paired with linen tailored shorts and a brown belt. Once satisfied with how I look, I made my way back into the living room.
