"Somewhere in these eyes
I'm on your side"

Elizabeth pov

A few more days have gone by, and it's been nothing but pure
happiness and bliss with Y/N. Since she was released from the hospital, we've been practically joined to the hip, as she isn't able to go to work again just yet. Lately, I've been extremely busy with filming my new movie, so everything has been an adjustment. But, we've fallen into a routine. Y/N will stay home with Spencer if I had to film, and on days I didn't, we'd spend it together.

Unfortunately, her memories haven't gotten any better. In fact, they've worsened. Y/N has forgotten basic things, such as facts about our relationship and her life. And even though we've visited doctors, they all say the same thing. That they'll return in time, and that it takes longer for some people. But, I couldn't stop the worst-case scenarios that ran through my mind. What if they don't come back? What if she forgets everything? It's almost as if we're incapable of being fully happy.

My nerves were starting to get the best of me, so I decided to head downstairs in hopes of seeing my girlfriend. But, I didn't. I searched the whole house, and when I failed to find her, I started to panic. Finally, my heart began to relax once I found her in the garden playing with Spencer.

I stood on the patio, not making my presence known. My jaws were beginning to ache, due to the smile that never left my face. I chuckled to myself as I observed her laughing with the biggest smile while she and our dog continued to play. I allowed myself to take it all in; The warm spring breeze, birds chirping, Spencer's barks, and of course, Y/N's laughs. It was crazy how such a simple moment was enough to make my heart glow.

"Look who decided to join us." Y/N said, making me jump a little.

Spencer wasted no time running over to me, practically begging for attention. I happily crouched down, giving him an ear rub before standing back up. "Good morning to you too, sunshine."

Y/N chuckled, "Good morning. I was worried you'd never wake up." She joked, resulting in a laugh from me.

I rolled my eyes, "Haha, funny. Says the one wh-" Before I could finish my sentence, I was quickly cut off by Y/n wrapping her legs around my waist, locking our lips together.

Somehow, she always had a way of making me feel like we were the only two people in this world. The kiss was full of such love and hope, which made me feel as if I was floating on air. Y/N was like coming home after a long day at work, her presence made me feel safe and sound. She was my home. And with that, I couldn't wait to make her my wife.

After pulling away, she clasped our hands together. We contentedly walked through our garden, Spencer walking in front of us. The grin never left her face as she admired the many plants and vegetables included in the garden, making me feel beyond happy.

She bent down to pick up a sunflower, leaving me confused. She excitedly turned back around, placing the flower behind my ear. It took a few attempts, but she eventually successfully managed to keep the flower in place. All of a sudden, memories flooded back to me like waves as I recalled her doing a similar thing almost a year ago.

"Oka-wait." She chuckles, placing the flower once again. "There we go." Y/N took a step back as she flashed a quick smile. "As beautiful as ever."

At her words, blood immediately rushed to my face. I instantly lowered my gaze to the ground, in an attempt to hide the crimson red that was so clearly all over my face. Because For some odd reason, I felt particularly shy today.

She lifted my chin up, both of us locking eye contact. "I love you so much, Olsen."

I grinned from ear to ear, "I love you too, Feige. Don't you dare forget me."
