About You

"And I miss you on a train, I miss you in the morning
I never know what to think about"

Another great three weeks has gone by. Liz and I have been at the most perfect place in our relationship. We've taken a big step, because lately, we've been going house hunting since my apartment isn't as spacious as we need it to be, and Liz prefers not to go back to her home. It's crazy to think that seven months ago, we were hardly friends. But, things took a turn for the better.

Three years ago, I lost myself. I lost my light. Quite frankly, I thought I would never find my way out of the dark path I'd found myself in. It seemed to be an impossible task. Though now, I can finally see the way out, because Liz was my light, my happiness, and my hope.

I was soon pulled out of my deep thoughts by my girlfriend's soft voice. "Baby?"

I hummed, turning my attention over to her.

"How does this taste?" She asks, dipping the spoon in the sauce before bringing it up to my mouth.

"Wow, it tastes amazing." I complimented her amazing cooking skills. "Perfect, actually."

While she continued making our lunch, I decided to start setting up the table. I couldn't help but chuckle as I observed the determined expression on her face. She was a perfectionist, but it was one of her many amazing qualities.

As soon as the food finished, we both sat down and ate in anything but silence. We talked about anything that came to mind, and I didn't forget to praise her perfect cooking skills again either.

I often found it difficult to turn my gaze away from her, she was so effortlessly beautiful. Everything about her lured me in. Her laugh, her smile, even the way she scrunches her nose when she smiles. She was the type of person who could make you feel like you were floating on air. And I felt myself falling in love with her even more with every passing second.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Liz asks. "You've been doing that a lot today."

I grinned widely, "Because I'm crazy in love with you, Olsen."

She beamed me a smile, the type that made my heart flutter with joy. "I'm crazy in love with you too, Feige."

After lunch, I washed the dishes whilst Liz cleaned the table. I'd put on our favorite playlist, which resulted in a dancing and singing competition. She won, of course, but I didn't mind. It was amusing to watch her get so excited over little moments like these. I've also made it a habit to capture these moments, using the camera we bought from France.

Pictures are one of the most important things in life. They capture memories that we tend to forget over time. But photos last a lifetime, because then, we have something to look back on and recollect. To remind us of certain, joyful times.

Once finished, Liz and I plopped on the couch, turning on a show called 'The Walking Dead' to kill time, since we were both free for the afternoon. And I could already tell we were going to enjoy it.

After watching a few episodes of the first season, Liz and I got ready to go to the grocery store. Since we needed ingredients for dinner tonight, we wanted to go early before we toured a few homes later.

I grabbed the keys, along with sunglasses before we left our apartment. Usually, paparazzi tend to spot us fairly easily, so we always slip them on whenever we go out.

"So, what are we looking for?" I ask, pushing the cart through the aisles.

Liz hands me a piece of paper folded in fours. "Tomatoes, lettuce, baking soda, flour, butter, peppers.." I read it aloud. "Okay, let's find them."
