"I don't want love I can't afford
I just want you to love for free"For the first time it a while, I woke up in an incredibly good mood. These past few days have been great, and life has been taking a turn for the better. Chloe and I have been getting closer than ever. Every few days we'll meet up at our usual cafe spot, and it usually ends with us watching movies at my apartment. I feel like things are finally starting to look up for me.
Excitement was coursing through my body, today was finally the day I get to see my bestfriend. It feels like it's been years since I've seen her.
-
Today marks two months since I've seen or heard from Liz. Needless to say, the pain hasn't stopped. I needed to get away from LA, so I've recently moved back to New York. I thought it would help, but frankly, it's only making it worse. I often find myself going to our secluded garden, or just random places we visited.
Im suddenly pulled out of my thoughts by the sound of my bestfriends voice. "Y/n?"
I quickly turn my attention to her, with teary eyes. "Here." She starts, handing me a bowl of soup. "You need to eat."
Hunger felt meaningless, life felt meaningless. I hardly had any energy to move a muscle. It was like a chore just to get off the couch. "I'll sit it on the table, in case you want it."
I didn't say a word, too occupied with the constant tears pooling out of my eyes. I hated being like this, but the pain was too much. It felt unbearable. It's as if the more time passes by, the more suffering I endure, and there's nothing I can do about it.

I only had around an hour before Ana landed, meaning I'd have to hurry. I did my usual morning routine before grabbing a quick bite to eat. After putting on a tee-shirt and jeans, I could hear faint knocking on my door. Grabbing my keys and bag, I ran to open it, recognizing a friendly face. "ANDREW!" I exclaim, pulling him into a tight hug.
He gives me a huge grin, happily accepting the hug. "Miss Y/n, it's been so long."
I chuckled, "It has. I'm sorry for not calling you sooner, but I appreciate you doing this for me."
"You don't have to apologize, I understand you were going through a rough patch. I'm very happy to see you."
I bring him into yet another hug, "So am I."
~
"So, how have you been these past months?" I ask, turning up the radio a bit.
"I've been good, I've.. met someone." He says, a blush appearing on his face.
"Does this someone have a name?" I tease, causing him to laugh.
"Her name is Sarah, we met at one of Ms. Olsen's premieres."
The mention of her made my stomach twist, immediately making tears fill my eyes. "I-"
