"I once believed love would be Burning red
But it's golden"As soon as I opened my eyelids, the first thing I saw was her bright, contagious smile. I allowed myself to get lost in the comfort as she drew imaginary lines on my arms, making me feel content. Liz's gaze never left mine as she stared at me with those mesmerizing emerald eyes, which looked more vibrant than usual from the rays of sunlight reflecting on her face.
Time stood still as we continued to find comfort in each other's presence. All I wanted to do was hold her close to me, staying in this blissful moment forever. I'd like to think that we were brought back together for a reason. Because finding a love as pure and beautiful like this is rare, and it was not something to take for granted. Because despite the heartbreak and dark paths, we were pulled together for a second chance. We finally made it.
"What are you thinking about?" Liz murmured, continuing to draw imaginary lines on my arms.
I exhaled softly, a smile appearing on my face. "I'm just happy, with you. It's hard to believe that this is all real."
She flashes me a smile, grabbing my hand and putting it over her chest. "Feel that? I promise you this is all very real, my darling."
I buried my head in her chest, allowing myself to listen to the gentle beating of her heart. It gave me a sense of comfort and joy, to say the least. The room was quiet, I could hear the faint sound of birds, the LA traffic from afar, and last but not least, Liz's soft breathing. Even to this day, I still couldn't believe things were going so perfectly for us. But I know that whatever happens, good or bad, my heart will always beat for her.
She giggles, tucking a few strands of hair behind my ear. "I guess some things never change."
"What do you mean?"
"You still snore."
I gasped, "I do not."
"You do." She chuckles, "Quite loudly, actually."
I rolled my eyes, "You're hearing things."
She hummed in thought, "Do I really snore loud?"
"Yes, very loudly." She stated sarcastically, "You kinda sounded like that one meme."
My jaw dropped, her comment catching me off guard. I smirked, an idea coming to mind. "Elizabeth, do you really mean that?"
"I do."
I chuckled as I slowly brought myself in between her, leaving kisses along her stomach. We maintained eye contact as I slowly lowered my head to her inner thighs. I started to suck on her skin, feeling myself get turned on as I heard her moan softly.
Slowly but surely, my mouth found its way above her center. I held her in place, my nails gently digging into her skin, making her flinch slightly. I continued to tease her, resulting in her hands finding their way to my hair. I smirked, knowing the effect I had on her. I began to lower her underwear, but unfortunately, the loud ringing of my phone pulled us out of our moment.
I frustratedly groaned, "You have to be fucking kidding me."
I could hear Liz's annoyed scoffs as I hopped off the bed, making my way toward my loudly ringing phone. Seeing who it was, I rolled my eyes before answering it.
