It's been a few days since I told Chloe how I felt. I had to make a choice, and as much as it hurt, I couldn't keep leading her on. It was impossible for me to fully commit and love her if my heart belonged to someone else. It took me a while to figure it out, but I know who my heart aches for. As I thought about it, the realization hit me. Every single choice I've ever made, everything we've been through to get to this point, she will always be the love of my life, my eternal happiness. And now, I just need to tell her.

I was planning on confessing my feelings later today. I'm not going to lie, I was eager, yet anxious. Even though I knew Elizabeth felt the same, I couldn't get the night I tried to propose to her out of my thoughts. My overthinking was getting the best of me, so I decided to take a long, hot shower in hopes of it helping.

By the end of it all, my nerves definitely calmed down. I did my usual morning routine before throwing on the first outfit I found, nothing too fancy. Before I could finish getting ready, my phone suddenly rang. A smile quickly appeared on my face once I saw who it was.

"Y/N!" I hear Ana exclaim on the other line.

I chuckle, "Hi An."

"I feel like I only hear from you once in a blue moon." She begins, "How is everything?"

"I'm sorry, things have been so hectic lately. But, it's going great. I plan to tell her later today."

"I'm happy that you both found your way back to each other, as much as I hate her for what she did, I only care about your happiness."

"Aww An, are you going soft on me?"

She rolls her eyes, "Shut up!"

"No thanks." I smirk, "How are things going with you and your mystery person?"

"If you must know, things are going amazing." She softly exhales, "I think she's the one."

A big grin appears on my face, "I'm so happy for you Ana, if there's one person who deserves someone, it's you."

She mocks me, "Aww, is Y/n going soft on me too?"

"I hate you."

"You love me!" She bellows.

After a drastically long call with Ana, I decided to lounge on my couch since I had a few hours to kill. Though, that plan was soon canceled once I heard knocks on my door. Mindlessly opening it up, I was surprised to see who was standing in front of me.

I immediately engulfed him in a tight hug, "KEVIN?"

"I see you really missed me, huh?" He joked.

I playfully punch him, "Don't ever disappear on me like that! What have you been doing?"

"Okay, noted." He sighs, "The new movie I'm working on has been taking up most of my time."

"Clearly!" I gesture for him to come inside, shutting the door behind us.

"Hmm, I like what you've done with the place."
