Chapter 30: A Snake's Uproar

Napuno muli ng bulong-bulungan ang paligid nang dumating ang mga carriage ng House Hampton.

"Wow! Is this for real? Limang taon na ang nakararaan nang huling dumalo ang mga Hampton sa Festival of the Eight Kings."

"Look at those knights behind their carriage. They look intimidating."

"Those huge horses, aren't those for battlefields? They are so shiny."

Bumukas ang pintuan ng mga carriage. Unang lumabas ay ang dalawang binata. Lavinia's eyes sparkled when she saw Astaril and Aldaine went out of the first carriage.

The twins looked day and night. Asta was wearing an all-white suit with Sylvandrite brooch and white boots. He was all smiles.

Si Aldaine naman ay nakasuot ng kulay itim at gold na suit. His boots were partnered with a long cape and black boots. His reaction is still the same emotionless face.

Sunod na bumukas ay ang pangalawang carriage. The Duke of Hampton was the first one to jump out. He's wearing a royal blue, double-breasted suit with cape as well. Epaulettes are on his shoulders along with the aiguilettes on his left chest. He looks handsome and dignified with that get up.

Ngunit mas lalong umingay ang paligid nang bumaba si Kamaria. She was also wearing a suit. A red royal suit with fur cape, high boots and a dignified look. Her intimidating aura looks dominating. Idagdag mo pa na hindi ito nakikitaan man lang ng kahit katiting na ngiti.

Lavinia can't help but to feel like home again.

How I missed them. I didn't know it's already been a month since we last saw each other.

"Wow, it really is the Hamptons..."

"Duchess Hampton is as intimidating as ever."

"She's wearing a suit as well."

"The Hampton Twins! Oh my... They are so handsome."

"Duke Hampton looked rough but he's quite an eye catcher as well."

Taas-noong naglakad ang mga Hampton patungo sa unahan sa pangunguna ni Kamaria.

Tumaas ang kilay ni Lavinia na nanonood lamang sa kalayuan. Dumako ang kaniyang tingin kay Archidemes na nakayukom na ang isang kamao.

"We are not close enough to call each other by our names, Your Majesty."

Lumipat ang tingin ni Lavinia sa First Imperial Consort, sa ina ni Prince Cairo. Lavinia's lips twitched while smirking when she saw how the consort gave a deadly look at Kamaria.
