Chapter 12: Auction House Raid

Days after their trip to the city, Lavinia ang the twins got ready for their separate missions. Nakahilera ang mga knights ng North Castle at House Hampton sa malawak na training grounds ng North Castle. Aldaine is going to handle the troops of House Hampton dahil mas experienced ang mga ito sa battleground, isa pa ay naihati ang troops ng North Castle Knights kila Lavinia at Astaril.

Aldaine will lead the troops going to Casteldua City, one of the cities in the North. Naroon ang headquarters ng organization na nagsasagawa ng slave auction at trade. Dahil may posibilidad na malaking grupo ang makakalaban, kaya sa kaniya ang knights ng House Hampton.

Si Astaril naman at ang kaniyang troops ay patungo ng Town of Argos, isa ring lugar sa North Region. Doon naman nagaganap ang trade ng mga illegal goods at slaves dahil maraming lumang port doon upang pagdaungan ng mga ilegal na barko.

Lavinia, on the hand, is going to lead the troops assigned for raiding the auction house at Estanco City. Aabutin ng ilang araw ang kanilang biyahe kaya kinailangan nilang umalis nang maaga.

Humalukipkip si Lavinia nang maramdaman ang sandaling pag-ihip ng hangin. Alas kuwatro pa lamang ng umaga kaya mas malamig ang panahon sa North.

"Everything is ready. Tara na," ani Aldaine nang lumapit ito kila Lavinia at Astaril.

The three of them are wearing the knight uniform of the North Castle Knights. For the men, it was an all black, double breasted jacket suit with silver buttons and belt. Sa loob ng jacket suit ay ang high-neck na pangloob at may apat din na silver buttons. It was partnered by a black pants, black boots, black wrist gloves and black cape with fur and both shoulder has a silver epaulettes. They are also wearing an official knight visor cap on their head.

Ganoon din ang suot ni Lavinia. But instead of jacket suit, it was a black, long tail and double-breasted suit which hugged her body because of the silver belt and fitted suit. A black ankle and leather boots with no heels for the long trip, a cape and black gloves. She decided not to wear the cap and just tie her hair into a high ponytail with her bangs displayed.

"See you after a week, little pup."

"Take care, Vinia."

The twins bid their farewell. Kinawayan naman sila ni Lavinia at tumalikod na upang umalis. Nakasunod sa kaniya ang Captain ng troops na naka-assign sa kaniya.

"Captain, tell the troops to mount their horses and get their asses ready. We'll start the journey after twenty minutes," utos ni Lavinia.

"Yes, Commander."

Since Lavinia is on official business for this mission, she's automatically the commander-in-chief of the troops.

Natigilan si Lavinia sa paglapit sa kaniyang kabayo nang marinig ang pamilyar na boses. Agad niyang nilingon ang papalapit na si Archimedes at mukhang kagagaling lamang sa kaniyang morning training. He's only wearing a lose and black poet shirt with stretchable pants, fitting for a training and a boots.

"Uncle... What's up?"

"Magpapaalam lamang ako. Keep safe. I know that you're strong, but there's no harm in being careful too, right?"
